Career Research
With hundreds, maybe even thousands of careers that I could choose from, only a few of them seemed like something I would actually work as. But finally, after limiting my choices, I obtained three careers, that I would be more than delighted to research about. My first one would have to be the electrical engineer. The way they work always intrigued me, with their fancy electronics, and the sounds of the things they invented, it’s no surprise my attentions been on it for a while now.
Using their knowledge of science, and applications of electricity, they forge revolutionary machines such as atom smashers, and microchips. Not only that, but they are also involved with all the devices we all use today, and maybe even the computer

If you want to be an electrical engineer, specific classes will help! These classes range from algebra, trigonometry, calculus, biology, physics, chemistry, computer science, and other classes that will develop your understanding of the basics of electricity. Through hard work and perseverance, the student shall graduate as an electrical engineer, and gain approximately $60,000 per year.
To add on, the student should focus on becoming a (PE), or professional engineer. In order to become a professional engineer, you would need an accredited engineering curriculum. With this title, the professional engineer can now take projects that affect other’s lives, health, and property. This allows the engineer to take more projects, and earn more money.
Another great addition, is that electrical engineer’s demands are increasing. But, while the demands increase, the people who see the career as a potential career also increases, which then leads to all the positions being filled up. So, if the engineer wants a job, they should keep up with the electrical advancements, and learn how they work, allowing them to have an advantage to the other people that wants the same

To elaborate, robots has always fascinated me. Converting our language, to 0’s and 1’s and understanding it! I’ve had past experience with robotics, and know that I’ll be a great candidate for a robotic engineer, because I can create ideas, and solve problems really well too.
To begin with, robotic engineers use their knowledge of computer science technology to create robots. Then, they develop software that allows them to communicate with the robot. Next, they program the robot with the software, to do actions automatically, or achieve tasks that will help humans. This is where the robotics engineers earn their money, the more complex, the more money, up to $80,000!
However, you’ll need a great deal of knowledge about computers, before becoming a robotics engineer. The student should take biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, calculus, graphics, computer science, English, speech, composition, social studies, and drafting, to get education that they need for college. In addition, the student should take classes that teach electrical schematic reading, and basics of electricity, or classes that gives a hands on experience with
Mechanical engineers must be licensed of they are to do anything that affects peoples’ lives, property, or the environment. A bachelor’s degree is minimal for most companies. A master’s degree assures a better starting salary and opportunities for advancement. High school credits should have good grades in: math, physics, chemistry, biology, drafting, computer and mechanical courses. To become a mechanical engineer you should start at a high school level when you notice curiosity of how, any why things work.
Engineering demands a specialized education that can begin as early as kindergarten. More schools are beginning to emphasize math and science classes by implementing a program called “STEM”. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This program was created to encourage students to pursue careers in these fields to fill the demand for them. Some examples of these are chemists, doctors, engineers, astronauts, programmers, and many more. (STEM center) Another such program that can prepare you is “Project Lead The Way”. Project Lead The Way partners with engineering programs in schools to help provide
Electrical engineers work on a variety of things as LiveScience states, “Electrical engineers work on a wide range of components, devices and systems, from tiny microchips to huge power station ge...
Have you ever wondered what jobs a robot will have in the future? What are the parts to a
The Bureau of Labor Statistics defines an electrical engineer as someone that “designs, develops, tests, and supervises the manufacturing of electrical equipment such as electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communications systems, or power generation equipment.” Electrical engineers work with but are not limited to electricity, electronics and electromagnetism (What Do Electrical Engineers Do?). These engineers can work in labs, offices or on the floor of some major industries. Electrical engineers may solve problems on a day to day basis or they might develop new technologies to benefit everyone. Typically they work and develop new projects that may include gaming systems, cars or even robots. Electrical engineers average a salary of $87,180 a year and is a great field choice due to the innovation of this career (Bureau of Labor Statistics).

The responsibilities and tasks of a electrical engineer is to work of many projects, such as computers, robots, cell phones, cards, radars, navigation, systems, wiring and lighting in buildings and other kinds of electrical systems. There are many thing that an electrical engineer has to come across to obtain some results and make something new or improve something that is dated. (Engineering Technicians, Page 58)
With the development of technology in the world, people are faced with many things they never saw and knew before. In this modern life, technology has affected a lot in people’s lives in many levels. Robot is considered as an important product of technology.
What is electricity? The term electricity means the force that makes electronics move from place to another. This is similar to the meaning of the engine as the force that moves a car or any mechanical machine. However, here it is explained as the effect not the physical movement. Throughout the ages, scientists have realized that electricity’s behavior can be predictable pattern when subjected to given conditions (Naiah & Kamakshaiah, 1995). What Electrical engineering? Electrical engineering is a field that deals with the applications the technology of electricity, such as generating, distributing electrical energy, and programing electrical systems.
(Occupational Outlook Handbook) I realize that getting a good education is important. A Mechanical engineer is required to have a four year degree at an accredited college. (Occupational Outlook Handbook) They have to take different design, computer, theory and physic class. (Occupational Outlook Handbook) Since an engineer has to interact with different type of associates they must be fluent in speech, and grammar, due to the amount of people that they have to communicate with through email, or face to face
Electrical Engineers research, develop, design, and test electronic components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, and scientific applications (Cosgrove 749). They are concerned with devices that use small amounts of electricity that make up electronic components such as integrated circuits and microprocessors. By applying principles and techniques of electronic engineering they design, develop, and manufacture products such as computers, telephones, radios, and stereo systems (EGOE, 121). Electrical engineers touch everyone lives through the things they have designed or created. Electrical engineers have invented the lights in your house, the television, the stereo, the telephone, computers, and even your doctor’s blood pressure gauge (Stine 300).
My decision to become an electrical engineer was not a decision I took too long ago. It is something that I decided to pursue when I entered a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) high school. It was then that I realized how much I enjoyed working with computers and building circuits, and the fact that this career involved many subjects. Doing a lot of research to understand better what it meant to be an Electrical Engineer, I found out that in order to succeed in this career one had to know a little bit of everything. In other words, subjects such as science and math are essential to know if someone wants to be successful electrical engineer. An electrical engineer is someone who finds practical solutions to everyday problems that involve electricity, such as computers, cell phones, among other electrical equipments. In order to create a useful device one must know where to start and this is where science comes in. An electrical engineer must be able to use the scientific method, which means; one must form a procedure, test it out, and write a conclusion. These parts of the scientific method must be written clearly, so that others can recreate and test out a device or project. Math also plays a key role in this area of study, because one must be precise when creating a new device that others are going to use. For example, if one were to create a new type of cell phone one must know a lot of math in order to be able to progr...
Robots can do many different kinds of jobs . Robots help doctors do delicate surgeries since people can’t do it . People also send robots in war zones to look for hidden bombs and disable them since it is too hard and too dangerous for a human being . We also send robots to the depths of the ocean and the expanse of space. We don’t send humans in the ocean since they can’t go that deep and we don’t send humans into outer space since there are a lot of planets and places in space human beings can’t go on . Robotics is also a hobby . If you want to make a robot you need to have an sensor that detects what's going on . You would also need to have a controller that reacts to what the sensor detects and finally you need to have a affected that takes
