Now the current situation the world is experiencing the ‘go green’ movements. This movement was started by environmentalist with the aim to enlighten the damage we are causing on the Earth. In order to save the earth we need to look for alternative sources of energy in order to avoid the fossil fuels resources from being completely depleted.
Presently, fossil fuels provide us with heat and electricity. The most commonly used fossil fuels are coal, oil and natural gas. “This means that fossil fuels, along with nuclear energy-a controversial, non-renewable energy source- are supplying 93% of the world’s energy resources.” (McLamb, 1). So this tells us that how much harm we are causing to the environment because fossil fuels cause global warming and has a negative effect on the entire ecosystem. Another problem with fossil fuels is that with increasing population so there will be an increase in the energy consumption. Because of this the fossil fuels resources will not sustain for a long period, probably only 104 years. Hence, we ought to look for alternatives and natural elements like:...
