Cameras are a very popular device that can be found with a lot of frequency nowadays. Most of us own a camera, a laptop with a camera, a smartphone with a camera or some other object with a camera attached to it. Most of the population own cameras to capture memories, upload images of their whereabouts to social media but cameras can be a a very useful tool to capture very many things which is why several police departments have implemented cameras to their officers uniforms to use as a tool to capture evidence amongst other things. According to the Office of Justice Program about 32 percent of local police has already started to use body cameras on at least some of their officers. Although everyday we see more and more departments implementing cameras as part of daily patrol because of the very many advantages of this tool, there a few concerns about the use of body worn cameras. To an officer, having a camera on their person recording their every move and every word can not only be very uncomfortable and distracting but an invention of their privacy. They would no longer be able to speak their mind or scratch their armpit or something so simple as to sneeze without feeling like the camera on their uniform is preventing them from doing so and feeling comfortable and safe while doing it. For the public it will not only be intimidating to know that the police officer is recording their every move and word can cause both suspects and victims to feel unsafe and uncomfortable. For example if a domestic violence victim is asked to show her bruises or other wounds she may feel hesitant knowing that the action of her exposing her shoulder, or chest is going to be recorded and for several people to
