Auditing is an examination of records or financial accounts to check their accuracy; all of person’s accounts are verified. Audits are usually done on an annual basis. These happen to people who provide a rather narrow financial accounting of money spent. If any findings of irregularities between the planned amount of money to be spent and the actual money spent an audit is done. When a person is audited, they are responsible for providing a detailed listing of expenditures that have accumulated in that a yearly period. This process is designed to allow any interested parties to know their financial position, their recent history of financial undertakings, and whether or not such undertakings have matched its financial mandate as planned. The most important institutions involved with auditing are operating departments and agencies, the office of the auditor general, and the public accounts committee of parliament. The departments and agencies are responsible for keeping accurate records of all of their financial transactions as well as collecting data on their departmental objective achievements. This information is designed to be used to enable the department to undertake responsibilities in the most optimal fashion. The most important actor in the auditing process is the auditor general at both federal and provincial levels. Fifth, Stephen Harper is trustworthy. He is honest and shows integrity to his people. Harper shows integrity by how positive he is toward situations that he is faced with. He showed his passion by helping aid in Haiti by providing aid and financial support in their times of need after the devastating earthquake a few years ago.
Finally, Harper is enthusiastic about his role. He strives to be an inspiration to his followers. Harper showed his enthusiasm about his country in the recent 2010 Olympic Games which were hosted by his country, Canada. He was recognized for personally congratulating all of the Canadian athletes, as well as being a part of the Games by attending several, if not all, of the sporting events with his family.
