1. I am currently studying Business Administration at the University of Florida because I have always had an interest in the various fields of Business. I plan to specialize in mass communications and minor in Spanish to expand my knowledge of professional language as well as learn another language to further my communication ability. I have always loved writing and different business fields like marketing and economics and I hope to incorporate these passions here at UF to eventually find a career which best suits me. I enjoy public relations and journalism as well but I also want to pursue a business degree to be well suited for any career path.2. I made my resume correspond to my cover letter in order for the employer at Plato Group to be able to easily follow my resume and be familiar with the experiences I am listing. Although Plato Group was asking for a marketing representative, further into the job description it asked for someone with sales and business management skills which is why I listed my experience as a sales associate and my experience with my marketing and buying internships. Plato Group was looking for entry sales and marketing experience which is why I listed my internships as part as my resume. I included my experience with the Florida Leadership Academy because Plato Group was looking for someone with business development experience.

I had the opportunity a couple of summers ago to shadow in a Pediatric Clinic because that was originally what I thought I wanted to be, but I was actually more interested in the business associated with running the clinic. I also have a family friend who is in the business field, and he talked to me about his job and the opportunities he has been given because of the major he choose. Listening to him, I started to see myself in the business world, traveling the world and meeting new people everywhere I go. I am attracted to the business world as a whole not only because I find it interesting, but also because I can see myself waking up every day and doing something I love. Over this course of this semester, I have learned a tremendous amount of information about myself from the self-exploration series. The results of my PGI (Personal Globe Inventory) presented me with a couple of different career paths to explore. The first type of career that was brought up to my attention was an enterprising career. There were a number of enterprising careers, but the one that interested me the most was business management. I decided to choose the business management because I am majoring in Sustainability and my focus is in Economics. I think business management would be an excellent fit for myself because I have actually done some research prior to this class about management. Communication studies was a good pick for me because, although there is always room for improvement, I can still garnish some more knowledge and information to better improve my oral skills. My personality will really fit into the communication department. I have been told about how fun the communication department can be, and how outgoing people are in the department. I initially liked this a lot because I am very outgoing myself and love to talk to people. I feel that I can be able to exhibit concise messages to people, clearly and efficiently.
Freshmen year of college had finally arrived, and I was ready to experience life through the lens of an adult. Just turning eighteen, I had it all figured out, my school of choice, my major, and my career. My plan was to graduate with a major in business administration and a double minor in psychology and political science, with hopes of becoming an attorney. It never ceases to amaze me how each semester of college has taught me to expand my realm of knowledge and to become more open to new experiences. After my very first semester, I decided to double major in business administration and psychology. As time went on, my sophomore year allowed me to delve into many major courses, which probed a thirst for knowledge that needed to be quenched. At this point, I wanted to receive a more thorough understanding of both academic disciplines, but it was not until my junior year that I realized my true purpose.

Finding a career that is adequate for me in life can be a difficult challenge. Since I was a little my dream job was to continue the family business back home in Ohio. Many people choose their degrees because they do not know what they want. I am very sure that the degree that I have chosen is the right one for me, which is Business and Administration. I am now attending County Community College and I wish to end my Associate Degree here in two years. After I achieve my A.A. degree at County Community College, I want to transfer to University Of Central Florida to finish my Bachelors Degree. In this paper, I will discuss the overview of my selected four-year School, the university major requirements, the transfer preparations, the career I will pursue after graduation and the interview.
Educational Goals: Education is extremely important part of my past, present, and future goals. I currently hold an Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design Media. I have found that an A.A.S Degree does not go as far al I originally intended in the Rochester, MN area and furthering my education will be a necessity for my future career goals. Over the past 2 years I have been working on my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the Minnesota School of Business Rochester campus. I am currently a senior with 3 quarters left before a spring graduation. After a June graduation, I plan on taking a summer quarter break. After summer break I will either continue on at MSB for my Masters in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing or transferring the University of Minnesota for my Masters in Adult Education. After my Masters Degree is complete I will decide at that time if I wish to continue on and achieve my Ph.D.
My ultimate career goal is to be a general human resource manager or recruiter for a high-tech or pharmaceutical company. These are industries in which I foresee great potential for growth in the future. I enjoy every aspect of my major, and I look forward to the variety of tasks and obstacles I will face as an H.R. manager. The prospect of interacting with people on a daily basis appeals to me immensely in a job.
Ever since I was young I have always been interested in businesses and how they operate, as well as being fascinated by other languages and cultural differences. My passion for the subject expanded when I chose business studies and french, as part of my A-level education. Although these subjects are somewhat demanding, I find them extremely interesting. I believe that a degree combining both these aspects is the correct choice for me. I am confident that a course in international business studies and modern languages satisfies both these interests. I will be looking forward to learning about the international business world and I am relishing the thought of learning to integrate with other European countries. The idea of learning to communicate with other people across the world is something that has always appealed greatly to me.
As a child, have you ever been asked what do you want to be when you grow up? When I was little, all I ever wanted to do was open up my own dance company. I chose to study Business Administration because I love the feeling of being an in professional and sophisticated manner.
