The saying “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” is
false, in fact the saying is just something people tell others to motivate them to get through a
bullying situation. Cyberbullying is happening all around us whether people want to admit it or
not, it 's happening. Several people suffer from Cyber Bullying not only outside of the school
walls through cell phones, computers, and ipads, but can get bad enough to where it leads to
physical bullying inside of school. Bullying is unacceptable, and there are several movements
attempting to end bullying once and for all. Bullying has changed into being more aggressive

It was
easier for them to harass me on social media when they are sitting a couple of miles from me but
would have never started anything with me face to face at school. Eventually the cyber bullying
got worse so it lead to getting harassed at school, more people got involved because all the stuff
those girls were saying about me were for everyone to see. It would get so bad that i wouldn 't
want to go to school or attend any after school events which i loved to do, i loved going all out
for the themes in the student section raging and supporting my school for football and soccer and
basketball. The cyberbullying got in my head and made me care so much about what others
thought of me through social media and on school grounds. I have played soccer ever since i was
four years old, i love playing soccer and it 's just what i love to do, but the girls that were causing
the cyber bullying were on the high school soccer team. They turned the sport i absolutely
adored and loved to participate in into the sport i couldn 't stand and into something where
person is worth more than their worst act, and that ,"No man deserves to die . .
With this unfortunate circumstance, schools need to put a stop to bullying. Informing the school and the community on the issue of bullying is the first step in ending it. To continue, the next is to make rules that will prevent kids from wanting to bully other students. Also, creating an anti-bully committee and a bullying report office in schools will help reduce bullying. With cyber bullying being so difficult to detect, we inform parents and students about safe internet use and ask parents to monitor their child internet usage. Bullying is

Cyber bullying is a cruel and unnecessary act. It can and should be controlled and punishable by establishing laws, “school policing” online sites, and parental supervision and punishment being enforced. Just in the past ten years technology has begun to grow and flourish into something that could be seen as beautiful or evil. Bullying was always known to be done on the school yard or down the block from your house. Cyber bullying has made itself very evident in our world today. Nearly forty-three percent of kids have been bullied online. Of that forty-three percent, only 1 in 10 inform a parent or trusted adult about it. Law enforcement, school staff and parents are working on a way to keep cyber bullying from occurring as often. Even though there is a battle going on to establish a law, cyber bullying should have severe consequences to cut down the amount of it that occurs. This still raises question of whether it will take numbers down or enrage kids to be rebellious and the number continue to rise.
Cyberbullying is an important issue and is underestimated it needs to be brought to light just how severe of an effect it has on teens. Not many realize what it does. Bullying that takes place in schools is much different than cyberbullying. Most of the time it is girls while boys tend to bully at school girls tend to cyber bully. Most students say it is easier to cyberbully than bully at school. “Somedays I am afraid to open my laptop or check my phone.” That was said by a teenage cyber bullying victim. Some people do not see the effect of this at all they do not understand. It was just a joke, it is not a big deal, and they just took it too hard. Are excuses to dismiss cyberbullying and some of these are accepted and everything is fine. But what people are not figuring out this is not alright this is not fine.

Currently, however, cyber bullying, a modern form of harassment, utilizes any type of electronic communication to virtually torment others. Troubled children and teens are more likely to apply social networking sites, sending embarrassing photos, videos or harass by text messaging. In a placed filled with children and adults looking for entertainment, the online world must get rid of cyber bullying.
Today in our schools Cyberbullying is something that happens often. Cyberbullying in when a child bullies another child by using the internet or some type of technology. What is Cyber bullying? Cyber bullying is just like regular bullying but instead of bullying face to face, it’s done on the internet. In America, cyber bullying has gotten out of hand during the past year. Unfortunately kids who are bullied through the internet have a difficult time getting away from the bullying. Children today walk the street while thinking or knowing they will get picked on. This has also caused teens to commit suicide. Usually teens that are the bullies have a lower self-esteem than the person they’re bulling. Teens today use the internet more than anything excluding sleep. In two thousand and eight young teens ages 12-17 had access to the internet. Cyber bullying needs to stop before more of our children hurt themselves. Studies show that most likely a female would be the most bullied. A high percent of teens have been angry, frustrated, sad, embarrassed, scared and shockingly a small percent weren't even bothered.
