The saying “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” is
false, in fact the saying is just something people tell others to motivate them to get through a
bullying situation. Cyberbullying is happening all around us whether people want to admit it or
not, it 's happening. Several people suffer from Cyber Bullying not only outside of the school

It was
easier for them to harass me on social media when they are sitting a couple of miles from me but
would have never started anything with me face to face at school. Eventually the cyber bullying
got worse so it lead to getting harassed at school, more people got involved because all the stuff
those girls were saying about me were for everyone to see. It would get so bad that i wouldn 't
want to go to school or attend any after school events which i loved to do, i loved going all out
for the themes in the student section raging and supporting my school for football and soccer and
basketball. The cyberbullying got in my head and made me care so much about what others
thought of me through social media and on school grounds. I have played soccer ever since i was
four years old, i love playing soccer and it 's just what i love to do, but the girls that were causing
the cyber bullying were on the high school soccer team. They turned the sport i absolutely
adored and loved to participate in into the sport i couldn 't stand and into something where
person is worth more than their worst act, and that ,"No man deserves to die . .
A reason why schools should not limit students online speech is because of the violation of constitutional rights. We question reports of increasing threats to students online. The number of young people using digital technologies is increasing rapidly, problems online would also be expected to rise, simply as a result of increased use. Bullying also has a long history. Bullying has occurred for
“It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”
With this unfortunate circumstance, schools need to put a stop to bullying. Informing the school and the community on the issue of bullying is the first step in ending it. To continue, the next is to make rules that will prevent kids from wanting to bully other students. Also, creating an anti-bully committee and a bullying report office in schools will help reduce bullying. With cyber bullying being so difficult to detect, we inform parents and students about safe internet use and ask parents to monitor their child internet usage. Bullying is

Soccer has always been my passion. I started to play when I was in second grade. I have played continuously and am now a captain of the Suttons Bay Lady Norsemen. We are a high school cooperative team consisting of players from Suttons Bay, Leland and Northport. This is our fourth year of existence and we worked hard to establish our team and its killer reputation. The part that I am most proud of is that I was among a group of girls that helped convince the Suttons Bay School Board that our high school should establish a girls' high school team. We asked to be put on the board's agenda and prepared a persuasive presentation outlining the reasons that girls at Suttons Bay High School deserved their own team. We knew that money was not available to fund the team, so we promised to find it ourselves. The Board approved our team in the spring of 1997. Our team members and parents spent long hours in fundraising to pay for our uniforms, equipment, transportation, referees and coaches.
I did all school sports throughout middle school on top of competitive hockey and soccer, golf and boxing. I wanted to do every sport, however as the work load increased as I went into high school, my grades were not as high as I wanted. I had to find a balance. I love sports, however I discovered my interests for after high school are academic, so I had to make the hard decision of what sports I didn’t have time to pursue. As sad as I was I knew I made the right decision because my top priority was school. This experience taught me how to prioritize and find a
Although everyone says they're going to do something, but really they don’t do it.our actions can speak louder than our words. For example, every time I go to school and ways hear someone say that they’re going to stop doing something what they are doing, but they really don’t stop. Sometimes people say they can win some person in a fight, but then they get into a fight and they end up losing. Actions do speak louder than your words because your actions can tell everyone how
This quote is something is definitely a truth that a lot of people do not understand(including myself sometimes), especially when dealing with conflicts and developing proper boundaries

Bullying has always been a problem within the past century and has become an epidemic. However, because of social media people are becoming more aware of the issues associated with bullying and how it has become a trend in today’s society. You turn on the news and you are hearing about kids being bullied and the end result is suicide. Bullying is occurring worldwide. Not only is it happening in our schools and social networks, but also in the work place. The various types of bullying that exist and the attempt to entirely eliminate them is not achievable because of individual and environmental factors.
There are many types of bullying one of them is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying had become very popular now and days. This type of bullying takes place on the internet, via text, or any multimedia device. ‘’Cyber bullying often possesses the absence of these traits and it may be linked to the flexibility of online media, which can lead students to play the roles of bullies, victims, and witnesses interchangeably’’ (Quillen 8). This is when someone is being teased at, or named called or even threatened by emails, text messages, or any social media. Some bullies tease others in social media by posting pictures of other kids and making fun of them or by writing comments
What is Cyber bullying? Cyber bullying is just like regular bullying but instead of bullying face to face, it’s done on the internet. In America, cyber bullying has gotten out of hand during the past year. Unfortunately kids who are bullied through the internet have a difficult time getting away from the bullying. Children today walk the street while thinking or knowing they will get picked on. This has also caused teens to commit suicide. Usually teens that are the bullies have a lower self-esteem than the person they’re bulling. Teens today use the internet more than anything excluding sleep. In two thousand and eight young teens ages 12-17 had access to the internet. Cyber bullying needs to stop before more of our children hurt themselves. Studies show that most likely a female would be the most bullied. A high percent of teens have been angry, frustrated, sad, embarrassed, scared and shockingly a small percent weren't even bothered.
Although it’s pretty obvious when you walk into a school and there’s no harm being done to any of the students, by anyone meaning it, there’s always people that will beg to differ. Some people think that actual bullying that you see in the hallway is worse than cyber bullying, like Amanda Lenhart quotes, “Overall both boys and girls say that kids their age are more likely to be harassed offline.” When asked teens, the majority of teens, 67% said that bullying and harassment happens more offline then online. Less than one and three teens (29%) said that they thought that bullying was more likely to happen online, and 3% thought it happe...
