How does buddhism, through its teachings or practices best encourage its adherents to live out the golden rule?

For this religion project i decided to pick the religion Buddhism. Buddhism is a religion and about 300 million people around the world practice and follow it.Buddhism is a path of practice and spiritual development leading to Insight into the true nature of reality. Buddhist practices like meditation are means of changing yourself in order to develop the qualities of awareness, kindness, and wisdom. Buddhism does not include the idea of worshipping a creator god. They do not believe that people should look to gods to save them or bring them enlightenment. Buddhism addresses itself to all people of all race, nationality, caste, sexuality, or gender. It teaches practical methods which enable people to realize and use its teachings in order to be fully responsible for their lives. All Buddhist live by called the five moral precepts. The 5 precepts are to ensure the safety and security of everyone and their observance means peace and happiness. The first precept is based on compassion and prohibits killing, hurting and torturing. The second forbids stealing, actions supporting stealing and actions analogous to stealing. This is to secure observance of other’s rights regarding their property. The third is meant as a guide against perverse sexual actions (un-chastity) and unfaithfulness in marriage life. The fourth emphasizes truthfulness and includes avoidance of telling direct and indirect false-hoods and the breaking of promises.The fifth is to prevent indulgence in intoxicants. If you follow the 5 practices of buddhism you will for sure live out the golden rule. The 5 precepts state that you must refrain killing, hurting and torturing. Refrain from stealing, actions supporting stealing and actions analogous to stealing. Refrain against any sexual actions (un-chastity) and unfaithfulness in marriage life. I believe that if you follow the practising 's of buddha and the 5 precepts you will ensure to have a great and moral life. All of these 5 practises best encourage its adherents to live out the golden rule.
