In life you meet you meet thousands of people, some you don’t get along with, some you consider acquaintances and some you can truly call your friends. Throughout you life friends will come and go all the time while only the real friends will stick around. According to Bill Parcells “A real friend is someone who knows all about you and likes you anyway.” This statement is correct because someone can like you for what they know about you, but to be a real friend they have to know everything about you and still like you after.
Bill Parcells quote is one that probably resonates with a lot of people in the world. The quote resonates with me especially for a few reasons. Ever since I was young I have been socially awkward, but people like to call it being shy. Making friends isn’t always the easiest of tasks when often my conversations don’t flow well and don’t get past a few words back and forth.
