Beowulf: Hero's Battles Against Evil

In this book Beowulf is responsible of killing three monsters. Grendel, who is a demon looking man who kills for fun. Grendel 's mother who lives in a lair protecting her treasure. And finally the battle that kills Beowulf, the dragon. All of these battles take place in different setting have their own unique attributes that make them special. Beowulf was a hero, he helped villages get rid of the Beasts that plague their land. Beowulf never fought any of his battles for riches or treasure, his motivation for fighting these monsters was for glory. Beowulf is the hero of the land and he is fighting against all of the evil that troubles the kingdom. The first monster that Beowulf has to defeat is the nasty vile creature Grendel. This battle
She is infuriated and promises her son that the person responsible will pay. When Grendel 's mother comes out of the lake she is on her way to Heorot. She is trying to find Beowulf so that she can kill him. Beowulf is captured by Grendel 's mother and she tries to kill Beowulf but cannot penetrate his mighty armor. As she takes him down into the lake sea monsters destroy all of the armor that Beowulf had to protect himself. Beowulf attempts to swing his sword at her head but it fails to penetrate her. Beowulf suddenly remembers the reputation that he has and begins to fight with his bare hands. As they fight he spots an old ancient sword, this is the weapon he used to kill Grendel 's Mother with. Beowulf notices that with each battle, he strength is not what it used to be. None the less Beowulf explores her cave and finds Grendel 's body. He cuts the head off for further revenge. When he swims back to the surface of the lake he is greeted happily by all of his warriors. When King Hrothgar is told about the battle he praises Beowulf and tells him that he is a great man of courage and honor. The village is at peace again and they celebrate as another monster has been
