Why do people choose to eat unhealthy? What is the point of eating healthy foods? People this year have been lacking in their health, and they are starting to become more and more lazy on the foods that they eat. Today, people are putting all that sugar into their bodies and not knowing what this food is doing to their health. So the schools that are trying to make their food healthier, they are doing it to make you healthier. Although people may not like healthy food, schools should give the students healthier food instead of junk food because the healthy food can make the children healthier, make them healthier as they get older, and stronger in their life.

School should take more responsibility in feeding healthier foods so that children can be stronger. Like in the article, ¨Childhood Obesity” it states that, “In the United States, the percentage of children and adolescents affected by obesity has more than triples since the 1970s. Data from 2015-2016 show that nearly 1 in 5 school age children and young people (6 to 19 years) in the United States has obesity.” (CDC,1). In the same article it states that, “Schools can adopt policies and practices that help young people eat more fruits and vegetables, get at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily, and eat fewer foods and beverages that are high in added sugars or solid fats,”(CDC,1). While some people need sugar because of health issues, other people eat anything and do not take their health seriously. Clearly these articles show that students should be watching what they eat. It stands to reason that your body can lose body fat and instead build muscle strength, so this means that eating healthy can make you a stronger, and a healthier person in life, so this is why schools should have a healthier choice of foods on their
