INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW OF SYSTEM
Rescue robot is a robot that has been designed for the purpose of rescuing people in situations that employ rescue robots are mining accidents, urban disasters, hostage situations, and explosions. The benefits of rescue robots to these operations include reduced personnel requirements, reduced fatigue, and access to otherwise unreachable areas. Since then many new ideas have been formed about rescue robots . These robots are very important in disaster scenarios and are hopefully taking a change for the better.
Snake robots are a class of hyper-redundant mechanisms that locomote through internal shape changes. Snake robots unique shape and ability to navigate highly variable environments, such as the pipe make them suitable for urban search and rescue missions. There are also various military uses. However, only strong, well-designed, and reliable robots will be useful for these tasks. We have designed a modular architecture that allows for both a wide range of gaits and resilience to failures. This architecture incorporates a well-refined mechanical design coupled with advanced electronics and software. These design requirements have led to the development of the versatile Super Servo which proactively preserves itself as it monitors its internal status. This combination allows the robots to effectively perform their tasks. We considered common failures in other modular snake robots and designed accordingly.

TECHNIQUES OR METHODOLOGIES EMPLOYED IN SYSTEM
Locomation:-
- Lateral Unduluralation - Lateral undulation (also denoted serpentine crawling) is a continuous movement of the entire body of the snake relative to the ground. Locomotion is obtained by propagating waves from the front ...

...g product. On the other side it is always good that the rescue robots increases in development with better performance, such that it can handle all the situation as needed. Some future work that could appreciate some more research is multiple robots and swarms, to its smart thinking of having collaborated robots helping each other working towards one goal. They could be used for mapping, navigate through various obstacles, searching and detecting. However, constructing these types of swarm robots may be very hard and complex, but is certainly a worthy concept to develop in the future. One other part to develop is the quadrocopter, because of its independence of getting wherever it wants, easy to control and that it is more stable to manage strong winds than a fixed wing plane. It will be of great interest and certainly dominate the UAVs because of its possibilities.
