Employment Insurance is something the rest of the world thrives over their work employment but it’s also something the U.S. does not have all the privileges. For most people in the U.S., employment insurance to them seems to be given to those who already have jobs and don’t really the benefit to aid them. But as soon as they see someone with no job, no benefits, and no privilege simply asking out for people to benefit to the sick and unemployment, they’re automatically deemed as “greedy” or “lazy” for their poor life style. Most people feel like not everyone should be given the benefits that they were born into simply by money, knowing not every American was born in middle-higher class families. So why should we give them benefits? Simply, for the unemployment, sick, and in labor mainly.
Parental Benefits will be the starting point in helping women in the work force who were going in labor, pregnant while working or not, or caring for their newborns. Many women in their times will most likely get pregnant during their careers, but that’s also a second thought by thinking of how their work be done, will they get an unpaid leave? Will they get laid off? Some woman don’t even get the benefits they need while being pregnant. Going into labor while still maintaining a job since some of them do plan ahead then going in to labor. Yet, some are pre-mature and have a sort of change of plans. Even then, some jobs help with the hospital bills, depending on the job. Yet at these times, some women could get fired for these random incidents. Like Gov. Mark Dayton said, ”Extend Unemployment benefits will help these workers and their families get through this very difficult time” (1). So by giving these women the benefits they need will indeed ...

With all this evidence I’ve provided, this shows that with benefits, this country could be in the best states it’s ever been in. Knowing that half of this country is oppressed by the thought of this ever happening because since they already deem us as lazy, dumb, or poor because apparently you need to bore into a rich lifestyle to have that privileged life because all you needed was money to get by in this country. So that in thought, the benefits that may be provided to you or to any lower class citizen will help this problem of no one having the right to feel safe for themselves, their family, and their co-workers. The modern America is a growing problem with this work ethic and privileged status, so by that we need to stop and give this country equal opportunity no matter their social status or job occupation is.
