As Colin Powell said, “a dream doesn 't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work”. My dream is to become the best physician I can be and to give the best medical care in the world to those people of my community that cannot pay for it. That is the main reason that makes me come to the United State for training. Working in a third-world country where there are not enough resources to give patients a decent medical care has driven me to pursue excellence in my career as in that way I can change the reality of where I come from.
In order to change that reality, my plan is to create a nonprofit foundation where the most underprivileged patients of the Dominican Republic will be assisted in their medical needs. In conjunction with my clinical career in the United

Finally, I got everything in order for the patient to have what he required. Next day, was astonishing to see the patient as if he was a new person just been born again and the pleasure that I felt for been involved in his care at that time. Experiences such as this one are the gasoline that keeps my passion for medicine alive and are a reminder to always be that person that can make things happen for those that are ill.
Now that the purpose and motive are clear, let me speak about my short-term plan. During training I aim to be a leader, giving my colleagues an example of diligence, commitment and teamwork. The main objective is to do everything the best I can with the hope that this attitude will spread to the ones around me. Last but not least, it’s of great importance for me to leave the hospital, staff and residency program better than I found it by providing aids in organization and logistics and by designing projects that will be of use to future
In the journey to become a professional my strengths have been continuous motivation and dedication to advance my education. I have the constant desire to continue improving my critical thinking skills, and plan to continue my education until I obtain a Master’s degree in Nursing Anesthesia. My family contributes to my strengths, as they are always motivating me mentally and financially thru the journey of education. Due to working for over 6 years in the hospital, my strength comes from extensively developed healthcare skills, knowledge, training and experience, with the ability to handle and intervene in emergent situations, with essential skillsets to perform under pressure. I look forward to better manage school induced stress, and continue improving time management
I find myself privileged as I am the first generation from my family to complete Bachelor Degree. Therefore, "reaching perfection through adversity" is what inspired my journey of Physician Assistant studies. I am originally from small South-Asian country called Nepal, where I completed my High School education with science major. As a science student, I was always curious to know the cause, symptoms, prevention, and precaution of diseases. Unconsciously, I was trying to pursue medical profession. With a strong desire to help community and undeserved population, I got associated with organizations like: Red Cross and Rotary International during my High School education where I worked as a volunteer. These further strengthen my endeavor to pursue career in medical sector.
37). I believe that everyone has the potential to become an effective leader. Even though I have only been a nurse for about one year and a half, I have gained crucial experiences that enhanced my overall potential as a leader. When I was still an associate student, I demonstrated leadership qualities in the classroom and clinical settings. I was a senator in the Student Government Association (SGA) and an active member of the Louisiana Student Nurses Association (LSNA). Moreover, I utilized my creative-thinking skills to initiate and design pivotal projects in our school, which included a mentoring tool and clinical guide that conveniently fits in a pocket. Once I started my first work as a RN in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, the fears and challenges of being a novice nurse overwhelmed me for a while. Nonetheless, I was eager and determined to learn new skills and techniques from my preceptor and fellow nurses. Not long after, I was already working on my own pace and managing my patients’ care effectively. Moreover, I showed initiative by undertaking small tasks in the unit like reminding my fellow staff nurses to complete the core measure check lists, making sure that all computer carts and desks are free of unnecessary supplies, organizing the assignment board, and collecting the nurses’ unit phones at the end of the shift. Although these are simple responsibilities, I believe that they require some degree of managerial and leadership skills. Furthermore, I exhibit my leadership potential in my everyday communication and interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare staff. I always advocate for my patients, even if it means having an awkward discussion with the attending doctor. Lastly, I intend to continually learn and hone my expertise, both clinical and leadership knowledge,
Currently, I have completed 9 12-hour shifts in the medical/surgical ICU, during this time I have made excellent progress in attaining my established goals. I completed sub-goal 1 and have completed approximately 75% of sub-goal 2. I was successful as my goals this semester were realistic and achievable within the short time frame (10 weeks). In total I created 4 unique and specific activities to assist in achieving my overarching learning goal.
From a young age, I was drawn to the healthcare field, not because the amount of money doctors, nurses and other health professionals made, but because of the dedication and contentment I saw on their faces helping someone in need. Growing up everyone wanted to become a doctor or a nurse and as a little child being a doctor or a nurse was a profession many parents wanted their child to pursue as a career. Needless to say, I fell into that category because I had high hopes that one day I will become a nurse. However, that dream came to a halt.
I want to be nothing else but a doctor. I have a thirst for medical challenge, a blazing love for science and human body, and a burning passion to succeed. Most importantly, I have a strong eagerness to make remarkable changes to my life, and the lives of other people. Medicine is both dynamic and centred on a strong scientific background, allowing me to understand and apply medical findings to improve the lives of patients in my care. I believe there is no greater joy than managing to help an extremely ill patient get better, and I would like to bring hope to patients.
I don’t want to give a cliché answer and say I want to help people. We all want to help people as future physicians. Being a physician for me has never been for financial or social gain but I never sat down and thought constructively about why I want to pursue medicine. But a recent experience on a trip to Honduras clarified why I want to pursue

Daydreaming is a part of almost all of people’s lives at some point. Daydreaming can take place anywhere, from the home, school, work, or even when you just happen to be taking a walk. Daydreaming is something that is an immense part of my life. I function much better when I daydream momentarily. Much of the older generation may say that daydreaming isn’t productive, or that it doesn’t get you anywhere, but I believe that daydreaming allows me to be more creative and successful.
In the future, I hope to pursue my career dream of becoming a pediatrician. Pediatricians can be identified individuals who specialize in giving medical care to children and adolescents between infancy to adulthood at eighteen years of age. I became inspired to become a pediatrician due to my immense love of children. Perhaps I have an innate intuition for taking care of people being that I have always felt that I excel at taking care of others. The idea of taking care of others truly makes me feel that I serve a purpose, not only to better the life of myself but the life of others. Therefore, I believe that becoming a pediatrician will help me combine the best of both worlds into a career that I adore and cherish.
Dreams can be bizarre, one moment the dreamer is being chased by a killer in the jungle, when suddenly the dreamer is in Paris sitting with friends having a cup of coffee. Most people dream every night while they are sleeping, yet they have no idea why they are dreaming what they dream. Dreams are a fascinating and puzzling topic, since the ancient times people have analyzed and researched dreams. Although an extensive amount of research has been collected, no one has found enough concrete evidence for a definite reason people dream what they dream and in fact why people dream at all. A major reason being that only the dreamer can experience and retell the dream. There are many theories, most scientists agree with. Dreams are visual images that occur usually during sleep, moreover; there are many theories on why people dream and types of dreams, ranging from thoughts of the day, to fear, to the desires and emotions of a person mixed without rational thoughts.
Ever since I can remember, I have always dreamt of a career in medicine. I have always had a passion of saving others people's lives. Being a doctor is meant for me because I love taking the time throughout my day to make a difference in people's lives. I am willing to further my education for an extended amount of time just to fulfill my dreams of becoming a doctor. Others want to become a doctor because of money or prestige, I want to become a doctor to help the people that are ill. My grandmother, who has been suffering from Cancer for 3 years is recovering from therapy. Even though, she experiences skin problems frequently, the doctors are still doing everything in their power to help her recover. Her hair have started to grow back and she is back to her normal self. This is one of the reasons why I want to be a doctor. When one is a doctor, people look up to that individual when they are at their weakest point. When they have no one else a doctor helps maintain a sense of hope for the patient and his or her family. I will be honored to say that I will be the person people turn t...
If I owned my own school, it would reflect on all the positive features that my elementary and secondary schools offered me. Education opens minds that were closed, but now they are open because of the experiences the student had. Schooling gives you the materials you need to help in the work world and teaches you how to be a powerful member of society. Education is important because you are able to connect with teachers who become close to you. Community is just one aspect of a school that makes it powerful. Teachers are another aspect that can make the school significant. Instilment of positive values is final aspect of school that can make it influential too. My ideal school contains the aspects of what I have come from. All of these ideals
Most people imagine their dream job is to become a famous actor or a job they have seen done many times. Though because of the progression of technology I would be more suited in a field involving computers. My dream job is to become a successful software engineer because I have always been into computer systems, but can I fit this job, is the career life something I can manage and what opportunities should I go after when becoming a software engineer. Each time I notice how a program is used I wonder how can I make it become faster or more efficient. When you are using your cell phone or iPad there is usually an update at every month. This is because apple is improving the speed of your applications. A software engineer is sometimes overlooked, but without software engineer’s applications would either crash or would not improve. Although most people may feel looking at a computer all day and trying to fix it is uninteresting, I find it challenging
