The Five main ethical rules/principles of my business
A. Employee Relation- We will always strive to be fair and objective in our actions, and we are never influenced in our decisions or recommendations by issues of gender, race, creed, color, age, pregnancy national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status or personal disability. This applies to all personnel conduct including hiring, compensation, benefits, promotion, termination and layoff.

D. Duty of care- Each employee is required adherence to a stand of reasonable care. You must act towards others and the public with watchfulness, attention and caution. Do not show anger to any customer, employee or manager. Any relation against an employee as a result of reporting a violation will be subject to disciplinary action.
E. Confidentiality- All questions and reports will be treated with sensitivity and discretion and will be kept confidential. It is against the policy to retaliate against any employee for reporting of violations of this Code. Information of this restaurant must be protected. We must also respect the confidentiality given to us by suppliers and other parties. Any retaliation against an employee as a result of reporting a violation will be subject to disciplinary action.

Dave Thomas an American restaurateur and a philanthropist once said, “It all comes back to the basic. Serve customers the best-tasting food at a good value in a clean, comfortable restaurant, and they'll keep coming back.” (thomas). Everyone can agree on Dave Thomas, but I have a couple more criteria to add to his idea of a great successful restaurant. If I go out to eat I might as well pick a place that, though may be expensive, has scrumptious food because why bother going to spend money on food you can make yourself? A great restaurant has to meet three of my criteria’s: the Décor and atmosphere, impeccable service and cleanliness, and most importantly the food.

All cooking and baking for the fast food will be done in the kitchen facility. This facility will be equipped with computerized deep fryers, commercial freezer and refrigerators, preparation tables, stoves, ovens, and other related equipment. The second section of this essay will focus on advice that should be given to any manager in a similar position to the garage owner with relevance to the organisational strategic management, the corporate objective and the evaluation of corporate social performance by measuring economic, legal, ethical and discretionary responsibilities. It will address whom to think of as stakeholders and why the different aspect could cost more than a manager or an organisation could have imagined.

A company's code of ethics is very important to establishing the expectations and quality of its brand. The code of ethics are concrete expectations for employee behavior, accountability and communicates the ethical policy of a company to its partners and clients. A good business practice is to have sound ethics. Having good ethical practice is knowing the difference between right and wrong and choosing what the right thing is. Though good ethical behavior is something that should be done automatically, a company needs to have a set of rules in place that holds everyone accountable. Over the last twenty years, the country has been bombarded with company scandals and unethical behavior; though morally wrong, the punishment does not fit the crime. The punishments have been overkill. A murderer, rapist, or child molester commits violent crimes and potentially is out of jail in 10 - 20 years. The CEO’s that commit white collar crime receive 25 years to life; this paper will discuss how this punishment for committing nonviolent crimes, such as breaching a company’s code of ethics, are disproportionate to violent crimes that plague the country today.
The restaurant employees are not following the cleaning and sanitation standards set by the restaurant’s managers and officials. The restaurant employees do not practice hygiene before coming into and at while they are at work. Sadly, it seems that the standards of sanitation most employees hold are declining. Employees are not bathing before work; they are wearing the same uniform they have been all week so that they do not have to spend the time and money it takes wash it, coming in hung-over or on some sort of drug(s), after throwing up, having diarrhea and being contagiously sick. The reason for this is that most employees do not care and just want a paycheck. Granted that the sanitation standards are changing with the years but even the smallest thing can still cause some kind of sanitation violation. Take for instance the employee usage of gloves: “When new and in good condition gloves are a help but, all too frequently, they are worn until the glove surfaces become roughened, porous and even split; in this state they are more a hazard than a help since they may harbour large numbers of bacteria on their damaged surfaces” (Forsyth and Hayes 374). However, even if the gloves do not split or break an employee can still be the cause of problems such as cross contamination by not changing out the gloves when fin-ished with the task just performed, or keeping them on throughout the duration of the shift.
