Battle between Apple Mac and Microsoft PC

Today’s advertising and marketing, companies have designers who face the decision to buy a Mac computer or a Personal Computer (PC) to do their design work. With tight budgets and people looking to cut cost the decision can be very difficult. The type of work that needs to be done and price will be the deciding factors. For many jobs, especially designers, Macs are an advantage in their line of work. While Macs are expensive, they are more work effective than PCs. To start with, Mac computers have a better screen size and higher quality. Macs only have a true-color display, which means the screens are using a 24-bit value. With 24-bit value this gives a user true-color display that is a higher quality picture over a PC (“Color”). The size of the screen is a huge advantage over PC screens. It allows for more windows to be open and visible at one time. This makes it easier to multitask and work with more than one program. When working on car wrap designs for example, many different programs are needed to complete the task. Because of this the size and quality of the screen are very important. The project has to be nearly perfect. PCs simply do not have the screen size to support all the workspace needed for these types of projects. Secondly, Macs already come equipped with a variety of accessories that are very useful. Bluetooth is already built into Macs unlike PCs where a separate device has to be installed (Derene). This gives the computer the ability to transfer information to and from a mobile device. A wireless mouse can also be connected to the computer without using an USB port. Many other devices that support Bluetooth technology can also connect to the computer to transfer data via a wireless connection.
