“Just move the body it also mean exercise”. Exercise has many benefits with your body, it’s help you to strong body and healthy. A lot of people know about this point but they rather ignore it. Now, there is a new activity, it uses music to take that and use a few time, also known as ballroom dance. That is a sport and is enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world. Arcangeli’s 1994 study found the following: Dance was regarded as having a bearing on health in number of ways. On one the hand dance was believed to be one of the symptoms or one of the remedies of some illnesses in some cases, both. One the other hand, dance was classified as a physical exercise. Consequently, its effect on the general well-being of its practitioners (or even, in a few cases, of its spectators) was an issue that found its place in the literature of dance and medicine. (Pp.127-55) Ballroom dance has many advantages for health, following the top three of ballroom dance benefits which are flexibility, strength and Sense and well-being.
At the first for the positive health benefits of ballroom dance. I will focus on the result of flexibility for the dancer’s body. Flexibility is a significant part of being healthy. Dance requires a large amount of suppleness. Most of dance classes begin with a warm-up including several stretching movements. Dancers have to strive to attain full choice of motion for all major muscle groups. The greater the range of motion, the more muscles can flex and extend.
Lima’s 2007 study found the following: They also felt the benefits of augmented physical skills, such as flexibility, balance and coordination, factors that became essential in the elaboration of choreographic compositions with a great level of plasticity.

Ballroom dance is a moderate activity and it may not be as strenuous an activity as training to run a marathon, don't knock the benefits of regular movement and exercise, but it has some specific health benefits to your body too. Ballroom dance have both slow and fast step and all of these thing can help and make you to fit. Just doing 60 minutes of dancing it can burn fat between 200 and 400 calories. It’s help you to good shape.
The second of benefit of ballroom dance is strength. The strength is defined as the ability of a muscle to exert a force against resistance.

The last benefit of ballroom dance is Sense and well-being, dancing makes you to feel good because in your body has to produce and increase more endorphin hormones. This hormone makes you to feel happy. Arcangeli’s 1994 said that: Dance as exercise was usually considered in the literature of preventive medicine (hygiene or prophylaxis), as it could be recommended as part of an integrated regime that helped to avoid health problems, rather than seeking to treat them. In fact, such literature was principally addressed to the healthy, rather than the ill although to some extent this seemed to go against the general purpose of the art of medicine which was to treat illness. (Pp.127-55) Ballroom dance can treat depression in the elderly by study form twenty participants. “For the results would likely show that ballroom dance lessons significantly improve depression in older adults. Self-efficacy and hopelessness showed some utility as outcome predictors, and this should likewise be examined with larger samples”.(Haboush B.A. et al, 2006.)
In the conclusion, ballroom dance has many benefit for your health, it make you to suppleness in your body. It’s increase the power in part of your remains and make you to feel good. However, not only dance for fun but dance for health because ballroom dance can treat some disease such as Parkinson disease and the depression in the elderly.
