Applying Behavioral and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies
(Agrosy,2016). Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) was established by (Dr. Aaron T. Beck),1960’s.
(Dr. Beck) created and supported several experiments to tryout psychanalytic conception of depression. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) a goal that is established for a short period that is positioned psychotherapy treatment that take hand-on actual approach to problem solving.
This goal also is establishing to change the way a client behaves or think and change the way a person may feel.
(CBT) help clients become aware of when to create negative understanding and a behavioral pattern which increase inaccurate thinking. Cognitive therapy also assist client with to create different ways of thinking which assist with aiming to decrease their psychological distress.
“Cognitive behaviors therapy (CBT) is a kind of psychotherapy that assist clients to identify inaccurate cognition through an assessment. The client learns to distinguish between reality and thoughts (CBT) can also be used to treat complications such as depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, uncontrollable anger and other stronghold that affect our daily lives.
From a cognitive perspective, Codrina appear to be depressed and unable to sleep, has a loss of appetite and she is going through a divorce.

I enjoy working with people and helping them with difficulties in the face of life persistent challenges that are coping with depression, anxiety, difficult and painful relationship, or losses and trauma my approach would be very sensitive, respectful, thoughtful and collaborative as I attempt to assist Cordrina better understand her situation more effectively cope with the challenges she is facing in her life.
I feel that I can also related to Cordrina even though I wouldn’t share my life experience with, I struggle with a major life transition such as divorce or the dissolution of relationships, issues around self-esteem and lack of self-confidence. I would can relate to Codrina problems that she is experiencing.
