Apple was the first to launch its smart phone with a multi-touch interface and later came other companies like Samsung. Unlike the old bulky cellular phones that came out in the 1980 's, smart phones have the ability to do what a personal computer can do. It is now an equipment right in the palm of your hand. Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5, are the two biggest hot commodities on the cellular market today. What is the hottest smart phone out right between the Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6? According to Galaxy S6 article, Samsung release the Galaxy S5 in April of 2014. Within three months of their release date, Samsung has sold over 12 million units. (Galaxy S6) That is an impressive number for that short period of time. Many Apple users criticize the Galaxy S5 for being poorly made, but as Samsung reveals that their phone has so much to offer. Samsung made their phone bigger and wider with a 5.1” LCD screen to enjoy. On the back of the phone, user can open the back to switch out the battery or to add extra storage up to 128 gigabytes. With the smart phones being so expensive and fragile, users now can feel safe when it rains or he or she drops their phone in water with a water resistance and dust free feature. The Galaxy S5 is not so much user friendly when comparing to the iPhone 6, but if the consumers are into high-tech devices then this is the phone to buy. Samsung has made their phone capable of customizing to the user’s preference. From faster access buttons on the lock and home screen, to an emergency button that the user can tap three times on the power button, which will notify the user’s reference with the location he or she is at. As well as, a current picture with the front of the camera and the back of the camera. Another feature that Samsung offers, is when the Galaxy S5 battery is low, the user can set the phone to save battery where at ten percent can last up to twenty-four hours.
