Cages, retainers, and materials to build environments for specific tests are often required in order to retain and carry along the experiments. Food and water are also costly, since is important to keep the lad rats in a good diet for better chances of accurate results. In addition the expenses of labor to clean up after all these animals, it is another expense that has to be covered, as long as the animal is alive. Just because of these expenses issues is that the fight has kept going, scientist do not want to spend money in new revolutionary methods of experimentation, or even the departure of lab rats. Since other methods of killing will mean more expenses, they choose the cheap way out, carbon dioxide, which has proven to be as traumatizing in animals as blind gas in humans. There is much to be said about a society just looking at the way they let others treat their fellow habitants. The world is asking for a change, unless started soon is going to be too late to redeem the human race, and if the current battle is to keep our animals, soon it would be to remove scientist out of the earth, for all the greed they have, and the poor desire to find a balance of things, these researchers should be punished in the name of nature, and the well being of animals.
