Every year millions of animals are abused, injured, and hurt. It seems as if humans are not very concerned about animal rights according to these statistics.. Animal rights is the idea that animals should not have to suffer and be able to be in possession of their life. Some people are willing to sacrifice things such as certain brands of makeup or certain kinds of food to improve animal welfare. For many years animals have been experimented on and placed in factory farms. Factory farming is a method of producing food products where the factories value how much they produce and how much they profit over the welfare of the animals. These farms keep animals confined in small spaces and make the animals eat things they were not originally meant to eat. This is wrong and there should most definitely be restrictions on it. Factory farms may be able to make a lot of money now but in the end the people may be affected negatively and not just the animals.

Some companies are beginning to see the real harm that animal experimentation and factory farming is causing and they are acting on it. But some do not even care. There should be regulations on how harshly animals should be treated because it is not only causing pain to the animals but can come back to hurt us later.

- Animal cruelty is an issue that gets plenty of attention in the U.S. From all the commercials to the donation hotlines and tee shirts everyone in the states knows that it is a relevant issue, but what about testing on animals. It’s not as relevant or discussed as other forms of cruelty, but the truth is we kill thousands of innocent animals all for the hope that maybe a wrinkle or two may disappear. This is horribly insensitive and cruel and I really can’t believe that we could do this to such innocent and loving creatures....   [tags: Animal testing, Animal rights]
