The night grew quiet as the streets of Williamsburg, Virginia filled with nothing. Nothing but the wind and the sudden rustle of bags grinding the floor,11:29pm... “Can we leave now?!” Hale exclaimed. She wore a white dress with some red bow tied to her brown hair, it sustained her “10 year old girl” ponytail into place. Her eyes have a syrup color to it. My dad says she looks like my mother, I last saw my mother about 2 years ago when she passed away, my dad always says that with the departure of my mother another came to be, my sister Hale, then he smiles and rubs his eyes. Although we are a very close family my father doesn’t like to talk much about mom. He is quite the rough looking man, a fade of brown hair covered his face and connected to his grown-out mustache. his eyes are blue and they would eat you if he stared at him and then drag you into mystery. ...ed through the local market, i glanced at the disaster…”Hold on one at a ti-….hey you get back!”, “We need food supplies to survive the apocalypse!” A woman shouted. I decided to turn back because there was no way I would get any supplies from the market and I ran home. Drilling, banging and hissing became the spotlight of the neighborhood as everyone constructed a bunker in their backyard. I got home and my dad redirected me to the backyard. KLING! a mirror broke into pieces when I stepped on it, it was my sisters the sunset and it’s rays colored the sky red and my reflexion off the broken mirror stood. My pale face, brown hair, and brown eyes stared back, was this the end? “Alright let’s go in guys” the man of 44 years old man carried us into the bunker. “Dad when will we go back outside?” Hale asked. “When it is safe honey” dad said as he closed the bunker’s door.
