Based on Donald Trump’s proposals throughout his campaign and debates, we know there will be many changes, however, I believe that Mr. Trump’s administration needs to slow down and focus on what will truly benefit most people and not what he thinks will be better for his businesses. A so called “make America great again” will rescind on many policies and create some that goes against labor and civil rights. Immigration has been a major topic that finds itself at the forefront of Mr. Trump’s campaign for over 8 months prior to the elections. His first plan remains that, he will implement a vetting mechanism that will screen immigrants thoroughly to keep them out from taking the jobs in America. One that protects immigrants and makes it harder for them to be deported based on its laws. While this is good, I believe that with Mr. Trump’s threat on immigrants that they will be afraid of reporting wrong doings to the authorities, such as crime and violence, abuse an unfair labor practices where necessary. They will then become afraid of protecting others since there is no one to protect them. Mr. Trump is violating so many laws which includes the First and fourteenth amendment. It is evident that the citizens of the United States of America have a voice must let it be heard from Mr. Trump to rescind or tweak his harsh proposals which are very discriminatory and racists. The operations of the electoral office make it harder for people’s preference in a candidate being the winner. Instead it is based on the Electoral College votes more so than popular votes. I believe personally that the United States of America should remove this system so that votes are counted based on solely citizen’s votes. We are yet to see a more conservative judge on the Supreme Court knowing that the republicans have triumphed. “His appointees might be more willing to enforce limits in congressional and presidential power than Scalia himself”. Justin Scalia believes that the burning of the U.S flag is awful, but lawful. Changes that are forthcoming can also repeal Joe v. Wade case and the constitutional right for women to make their personal decisions on abortion as this was a topic in the third and final debate against Hillary Clinton v. Donald
