What’s true love? How do you even know when it’s pure and real? For all we know love might not even be real, it could simply be something our minds’ created in order to make us feel happy as well as safe when we 're with our partner. The truth is no one knows what love is even when you think you’re truly in love, something could happen in your relationship to make you see the person you loved in a whole other point of view and completely change your feelings towards them. The thing about relationships is that they change with time, meanwhile everything around us is also changing and getting more modern. It’s completely different now that’s the 21st century from back in 19th century. In the story, “Desiree’s Baby” modern day relationships don’t face the same prejudice as the couples in the 19th century did, love is also questioned because of the color of their skin.
True love is very different to everyone, two people cannot think the same thing and have the exact same opinion on love and that’s because there’s more than 7 billion people in the whole world.
