There is a fine line between applying equal opportunities and discrimination towards others, as the act of favouring a particular race, gender or minority can be seen as a discrimination in itself, which is why all workers should be treated equally and fairly no matter where they come from or what their beliefs are. Equality of opportunity should be a human right based on social justice rather than economic circumstance.
