“I was one of those children where, if you put me in a room and gave me some crayons and a pencils, you wouldn 't hear from me for nine straight hours. And I was always drawing racing cars and rockets and spaceships and planes, things that were very fast that would take me away.” (G.Oldman) The life of an engineer can start early with signs similar to Mr. Oldman. Children, who like to draw free hand and build with Legos without using the instructions manual, have a creative mind. These minds eventually turn out to become engineers or similar to an engineer. The drawing is the process of an idea that will or will not become an invention in the later stages. The base of all inventions comes from an individual person or a group of people that have a creative idea or solution. Once an idea is formed, there are steps to create the final build. First step is to illustrate the drawing or idea. Then comes the building with many errors and multiply success. The final process gives the perfected item of interest. The world’s most famous engineer is without a doubt, Leonardo da Vinci. In addition, da Vinci’s inventions were both practical and impractical. The world’s most famous engineer created inventions that were built off an idea, consisted of trial and errors, and of course, the final product.

The start of all great innovators and inventions come from a single concept. At a pre-adolescence age, da Vinci was an apprentice to the artist, Verrocchio. Da Vinci was trained in both theoretical training and a wide range of technical skills. These skills include metallurgy, metal working,chemistry, leather working, drafting, and mechanics. ...ardo da Vinci is an innovator that had dozens of inventions that started from an observation or idea, then went through the prototypes, and finished with the final product. “To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk” (T.Edison). Da Vinci had a very creative imagination that brought him fame after his era past. He had many ideas that were based of many situations, including wars fought in his era and the forces of nature. He starts with an idea that progress into an invention. From this invention, the prototype is repeatedly tested and improved. Once the prototype is completed, the final build is established and produced. Although, da Vinci never actually built one of his inventions, the process still remains the same even if it took longer than he thought. Throughout the world’s existence, Leonardo da Vinci is the greatest engineer that ever existed.
