In the last decade, water is one of the most mentioned topics in the world. Water is a limited source but the human water needs are unlimited. Clean water, in fact, decreases sharply year by year but people still use it unconsciously. How to use water efficiently in order to satisfy human water requirements is a difficult question to all of us. Faced with the problem, some people believe that industrial wastewater should be reused many times meanwhile other people doubt the safety of sewage recycling in production. In our point of view, we think that it would be better if treated wastewater can be reused in the production instead of discharging into the environment because it has many benefits such as solving water pollution and water wasting problems as well as saving money.
In fact, the main reason makes water polluted is the city sewage and industrial water discharged into rivers. According to a recent survey, there is only 10% of the waste water is treated while the other 90% is discharged directly to water bodies (Edugreen, 2012). The quality of water is deteriorated by toxic substances from the sewage, affecting underground water streams and destroying aquatic ecosystems. Polluted water cannot use for any purposes such as households, recreation, agriculture, and industry. More seriously, it has negative impacts not only to human body but also to animals, fish, and birds. Nobody can escape the effects of water pollution (Edugreen, 2012). Hence, wastewater treatment and reuse the water help to reduce liquid and hazardous waste into the environment around us.

Having clean water to drink means that water must have microbial, chemical and physical characteristics that meet WHO guidelines or national standards on drinking water quality. Around 780 million people in the world don’t have access to clean drinking water (Millions Lack Safe Water). More than 3.4 million people die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in developing countries. Around the world, diseases in unclean water kill about 1,400 children every day (Clean Drinking Water). There are many organizations that raise money in order to help develop ways or create ways for people to obtain clean drinking water. However, many people are unaware that this is even a problem in other countries because we take clean water for granted.
People don’t appreciated the many advantages that comes with having clean potable water to use, taking it for granted. A lot of clean useful water is wasted by humans all the time that people don’t care about saving water because they have easy access to it. Clean and safe drinkable water resources are getting scarce as the population grows. The world is facing many problems, but the most important needed to survive, is water. Water scarcity is harmful to human life because when water is poorly managed throughout the world, those who need water are deprived of nutrients they truly need, causing them to die. Many people around the world need water. Around 780 million people are unable to get clean water (One Billion Affected). People who do have access to clean water in their homes, have to pay a fee. The people who struggle to live obviously do not have enough money to buy water. People who are unable to have clean water have a good chance of dying either from disease or from dehydration. At least 3.4 million people die a year from water problems such as sanitation (One Billion Affected).
