An Analysis of Microsoft Software
The software I will use is the website software package Microsoft
FrontPage to create the web site. The advantages of using FrontPage is
that it provides the features, flexibility, and functionality to help
you build better Web sites. It includes the professional design,
authoring, data, and publishing tools needed to create dynamic and
sophisticated Web sites. FrontPage includes tools and layout and
graphics features to help you work faster and design professional Web
sites. Work with graphics from other applications, giving you more
control over how images are displayed and saved. You can create and
manipulate tables used for layout purposes, and provide pixel-precise
control of your layout.
Hardware.
The hardware needed is a CPU of standard specification, 17” monitor,
mouse and keyboard. I will also be using a scanner to get photographs
of the hotel on so I can use these in the web site. Some photos will
be uploaded using my end users digital camera as he has taken photos
on there to be included in the site. An internet connection will be
required as well and the website will need to be uploaded, I will use
the schools intranet to do this and at later stages the end user can
load it on to their own domain server.
Data Sources.
The data sources I will use are Information from my end user from the
South View hotel. This is Darrin Chadwick who will be responsible for
updating the website and email queries.

Inputs.
The data that will need to be inputted is information I will collect
from my end user. This will be hotel accommodation and location
information, prices, facilities, contacts, places of interest as well
as images which will also be needed to be inputted and edited into the
layout of the different website pages. The previous owners of the
hotel did have their own website and information and photos from this
can be used as we have been given permission to do so.
Since the time when computers began to become an everyday item, we have seen a leader emerge. Microsoft offers a variety of products some of which include operating systems for laptops and desktops, cell phones and gaming consoles. They also offer services that help us with everyday questions and tasks such as Microsoft Office, which most people use in their daily life to write reports, make presentations and keep track of accounts. They have a search engine called Bing, which is a rival to Google and an instant messaging device, Windows Live. Microsoft with its vast categories of services and products has a market value of 215.44 billion dollars falling behind Apple inc. who has a staggering 306.23 billion dollars which leads the market. Market capitalization is the total dollar market value of all of a company's outstanding shares. Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying a company's shares outstanding by the current market price of one share. The investment community uses this figure to determining a company's size, as opposed to sales or total asset figures. The annual revenue for Microsoft in 2010 reached a record of $62.5 billion, an increase of 7 percent compared with the previous fiscal year. The number of employees employed at Microsoft as of 2010 was 89,000. Google who is a well know competitor has 24,400 employees and Apple who employs 49,400 employees.
You can consult with the architect and designer who built your hotel or you can shortlist a few good architects and designers to renovate your hotel. There are a lot of ideas that you would get by way of blueprints and basic layout. This will help you understand the ones that are in tune with your vision. The best way to understand their designs is to meet with each one of your shortlisted designers personally, go through their presentations and 3D models and then finalise the one that fits your budget and

Our sources for the app requirements will come from customers (hotel management), hotel IT personnel and hotel guests.
A patient information system called Mental Health Care-Patient Management System (MHC-PMS) is needed to provide medical information about patients with mental health issues and the treatments that are receiving. The MHC-PMS will be a database in which all clinics can interact with to get patient medical information. A Software Requirement Specification (SRS) will be needed which will include four user requirements and four system requirements. A detail description of four nonfunctional and four functional requirements will be found in the SRS. The last part of the SRS will include a detail requirement specification.
