There are many types of Alternative Energy Sources. The different energy sources are hydro and solar power, wind, biomass and geothermal energy. Throughout the world people don’t recognize that we use every these energy sources day for our own personal use. The energy sources are not only free but they are also renewable. It is a little more costly to use these energy sources, but going green is what’s best for our environment. Using these alternative sources will create fresher air, eliminate over half of the pollution caused by fossil fuels, and protect our earth a lot longer. I’m going to explain these five expensive, but very worth it energy sources.
Any energy other than fossil fuels is defined as alternative energy sources. It is the alternative to what we’ve been doing for years. The world is a place that strives off of fossil fuels. A fossil fuel is a form of energy such as coal, oil, and gas. We use a refill of gas everyday when driving our vehicles, and that is not good for our environment. Every time we get in our cars we are polluting our environment.
Solar energy would be energy that we take in from the sun, which is the main source on earth. People on earth also use solar heating as well; we use these in our homes, and for the buildings where we work. Solar power doesn’t create pollution. But the equipment used to produce solar energy does. The downside to solar power is that it only works during the day, while the sun is shining. So when the sun isn’t shining solar energy doesn’t meet its full potential, and that’s where fossil fuels come in. Although it does pollute our earth, it is way more convenient and is much more inexpensive.
One examples of Alternative Energy Sources would be Hydro power. Hydro power is ...

...t come along using them. The expenses are extremely high, so if we made the worldwide decisions to use the alternative option the cost of living would go up. Although it would be much better for our environment, it may not be the best thing for the world as of now. There are many things that need to be done, before anyone makes the decision to completely go green. All of the advantages and disadvantages need to be reviewed before making any decisions. It will take a very long time for us to stop completely using fossil fuels and rely on alternative energy, but it would be completely worth it if we slow down on polluting the air and keeping the world a clean place.
In conclusion, alternative energy sources are throughout the world and it is safer and cheaper than fossil fuels. Polluting the world isn’t a good think so people should care for their homes seriously.
