In 2014, imagination and hallucination seem common for some who use drugs. Whether a person is watching a television show, video, or movie, drugs seem to have an impact on some of the characters. It is rumored that the author of Alice in Wonderland used the drug opiate. Perhaps, the influence of drugs contributed to the adventures Alice experienced in the book. In this paper, I will share three scenes that were very vivid to me. Then I will try to show how imagination, drugs, and hallucination may have enhanced the story.
Drugs are not good for a person to take or use all the time. Many people use prescription drugs or over the counter medicine because they are not feeling well. Lewis Carroll use of opiate affected his book, Alice in Wonderland. Many people say that Lewis Carroll didn’t use the drug (opiate) when he was writing Alice in Wonderland. Three memorable scenes that I remember from the book support the possibility that Mr. Carroll use of opiate to relieve pain affected his book. His use of imagination and hallucination enhanced the adventures. The three scenes are: Alice going down a rabbit hole, shrinking, and growing extremely big.
Drugs impact how people think, act and live. Drugs influence the imagination and may cause people to believe things in their mind that are not true or real. Sometime when we get bored, our minds start to wonder. Curiosity creeps in. Ordinary and little things around us start to look different. The things may remind us of what we saw in a movie, video or television show.
Opiate is a drug that is made from opium. It is used to reduce pain or cause sleep. Opiate can provide pleasure in addition to the pain relief. An overdose of opiate can cause people to stop breathing and die. Op...

In Chapter ten,Alice been introduced to a lobster.Alice almost volunteers that she once tasted one,but checks herself and simply says no.Alice asks about the whiting,holding baack from impulse to mention that she has also tasted hitning.Alice been in the whiting’s place that left the porpoise out of the dance.The Mock Turtle explains to Alice that is unwise for a fish to go anywhere without a purpose.Alice botched the words to Father William and they order to recite the poem “Tis the voice of the sluggard.”Alice requested a song that is “Turtle Soup”.
In chapter eleven,Alice arrives in the courtroom and find the king and queen of hearts on their throne.
