The society in which we live today, advertisements play an enormous part in our choice of the product we purchase or use. On a daily basis people are sometimes overwhelmed with the amount of advertisements they come across. Advertisements can be seen practically anywhere these days from the time you wake up and just taking a glance on your mobile device to taking a slow drive home while unwinding from a long day at work. Advertisement can be found not only on TVs and newspapers, but also on billboards, buses and walls of buildings. However, the responsibility of advertisements is to sell and present their goods with as much visual perfection to peak the consumers’ interest in the product. For instance, companies employ marketing and pay staff to develop advertisements that will showcase their goods to a certain marketing audience. These advertisements are generally created in a way to show off the products most obvious features and to wow the customers at the same time. Without advertisements, economic growth would be stagnant because companies would just make products and wait for the consumers to show up on their own time to shop. This would slow down the flow of money, the trade and production of goods and services significantly causing a decline in economic growth. Overall, the purpose of advertisements is to usefully inform the general public about a product while providing an income to manufacturers. Many people argue that advertisements are not necessarily needed nor do they provide enough information about the products being advertised. However, companies will continue to bring creativity, savviness and mind games in the developments of advertisements when publishing their promotion.
