Leadership, and the Government that Follows
Measuring a ruler’s success can easily be defined in the satire Animal Farm. The spoof is based on a totalitarian leadership. The four main characters in this book are the pigs on the farm. They go against Napoleon’s will and represent the white movement. The reason this story becomes prevalent in the essay is because it shows how few people can turn around a society. Orwell describes in animal farm just how he got his idea for the novel. “I saw a little boy, perhaps ten years old, driving a huge cart-horse along a narrow path, whipping it whenever it tried to turn. It struck me that if only such animals became aware of their strength we should have no power over them, and that men exploit animals in much the same way as the rich exploit the proletariat.” This is the exact idea that Adolf Hitler had. If the people knew just how much strength they had as a whole, it was enough to over throw the power of one man. In Animal Farm, the pigs didn’t feel as if they were being treated equally and were able to over throw one leader who just so happens to be Mr. Frederick, the tough owner of Pinchfield who portrays Germany, or in finer terms, Adolf Hitler.
Adolf Hitler was a dictator of the German Nazi movement. He was born April 20, 1889 in the small Austrian town of Braunau. After a prior act in elementary school, Adolf soon became rebellious and began failing in the Realschule, which is a college
preparatory school. After going through this dispute he finally left school all together by 1905. He refused to give in to the normal training of a regular job, so he began his years of amateur painting and dreaming of becoming a famous artist. This is the part many do no know of Hitler. He was ver...

The reason why America is as strong as we are is because we have the democracy needed to have everyone living in peace. There are its downfalls, every country experiences them, yet our strenth as a whole picks us up everytime. It is the strenth created, practiced, and performed by the people which makes America’s leadership the best one to live under. Every person wants the chance to live in America, and its because of the system established that makes it so desirable. Leaders such as Adolf Hitler were great dictators, yet lacked the knowledge to keep their country the strongest in the world. Our laws and legislations are not always fair or right, but they adhere well to everyone and has set guidelines for us all.
The setting was perfect as the people of Germany were primed and ready for any leader that would tickle their ears with what they were wanting to hear. World War I was over (#4) and the people of Germany were in an economic depression that crippled the country. The German mark had lost so much value that it took a wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread. A good portion of the youth in Germany were raised in fatherless homes. In an article written by Dr. Alice Hamilton, she says this about Hitler's youth: "They were children during the years of the war when the food blockade kept them half starved, when fathers were away at the front and mothers distracted with the effort to keep their families fed. They came to manhood in a country which seemed to have no use for them. Even compulsory military training was no more and there was nothing to take its place" (Perry et. al 358). Hitler, being the sleazy opportunist that he was, capitalized on this state of affairs. In ways that were not politically correct, he was able to influence this segment of the population and hold them in allegiance to his agenda. "Hitler made each insignificant, poverty stricken, jobless youth of the slums feel himself as of the great of the earth, since the youth was a German, a Nordic, far superior to the successful Jew who was driven out of office and counting house to make place for the youth and his like" (Perry et. al 359). The following is an example of how Hitler coerced and manipulated people and how we as managers and leaders can learn from his mistakes. This essay will also address how we can effectively influence people and earn their loyalty. In order to effectively influence peopl...
Adolf Hitler Did you know what Hitler wanted to go to school for? He wanted to be an artist. Hitler was the leader of Germany from 1933 to 1945. On September 1, 1939, he started World War I. This paper will cover his early years (like school, home life, mother, and father).
Practice what you preach! The Unites States preaches democracy, freedom, liberty and justice by all. Our ancestors fled England to gain these basic rights and establish a land of liberty and justice for all. As I study history, I have come to question whether we, as a country, really live by these principles. By the late 1800s the United States had become a world power with the ability to influence other countries and expand to new lands by using it military and economic powers; America was divided on how to use this power and influence.
All countries, whether big or small, draw support from their governments but receive power from the people. Even in a monarchy, a king without subjects cannot be a king. America has a long and proud history of exemplifying the idea that, together, people can make the right decisions. They trusted each other, God, and the economy to work together for a greater good. Most Americans followed politics and took care of their neighbors.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 to Alois Schickelgruber and Klara Hitler in Branau, Austria. Klara showered young Adolf with love and attention while his father beat and abused him. He moved twice by 1895, first to Passau then to Hafeld. In Hafeld, about 1900, Adolf's artistic talents emerged and he was accepted into the technical/scientific school of Realschule. Adolf quit school at age 16, in part because of reoccuring lung infections ,and in part because of poor grades.
The United States is run by a democracy. There are many pieces to democracy that must be in good health in order for democracy to be effective and work. In this essay I will critique some of the most important parts of democracy in America and go deeper. I will first focus on the strengths of United States democracy and then I will dive into categories of democracy that I believe to not be thriving. I believe that the current conditions of United States democracy are becoming a hindrance to this nation, because the opinions and freedoms the public possess are being stripped away through poor media, education, and economy.
Being of military decent Hitler’s father ruled his home with an iron fist. This may have affected Hitler in more negative ways than normal. His father soon passed in his early adolescence and Hitler was raised by a single parent, his mother. In the beginning Hitler was not very interested in school he seemed disengaged, nonchalant and rebellious, his true passion lied in being an artist. Unfortunately with many failed attempts of entrance at the Art School Hitler’s hopes of ever becoming an artist remained a dream. Continuing life without formal education life was a little rough on Hitler. His beloved mother now diagnosed with a form of cancer and soon passed away too, Hitler was forced to survive by recreating scenes from postcards and living off the little pension he acquired from that.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th 1889 in a small town called Braunau in Austria, close to the German border. His father Alois was 51 when Adolf was born, he was known for being short-tempered and brutal to Adolf. It was because of Adolf’s stepbrother who went to jail for a theft. Alois was determined to prevent it with his second child. Hitler’s dad’s past was potential embarrassment for the future nazi leader because his mother was a cook that worked for a Jewish family. Alois was a civil servant which was a respected job at that time.
The U.S. Government is among the most successful governments known to man currently. The U.S. government is made up of a democracy, but this democracy was not put together on its own. It was first compiled by many other societies but mainly two in particular- the Greek and the Romans. These two historical powerhouses were and still are mainly known for their armies, agriculture, and their governments. These two formed the U.S. government that the world knows and fears and respects today.
“Hitler was a powerful and spellbinding speaker who attracted a wide following of Germans desperate for change” (Introduction to the Holocaust). Since Hitler was able to convince people that his beliefs about the Jews were correct, he was able to form the Nazi army. Hitler took advantage of the weak in order to become chancellor (Hitler's Rise to Power). Hitler promised the poor and powerless glory and riches if they joined his movement. This was successful in many cases. After becoming chancellor, he made his next plan to to take complete control of Germany.(Hitler's Rise to Power). Do to Hitler's strategy to gain power, he was able to do so quickly. “Adolf Hitler was so forceful in his ideas and his opinions that it was rare that anyone dare to oppose or contradict him” (Lace 58). Adolf Hitler’s ambition along with sharing lies about the Jewish citizens to the Germans is how he gained power in a short amount of
Schooling was one of the main things that set Hitler off in the real world. At age 11 he was very popular among friends. As of well, he was excellent in school. He received the highest marks in all of his classes. Problem was, was that when he hit age 12 he all of the sudden became the least desirable in his school. Then instead of receiving the highest marks he received the lowest marks in his classes. In 1900 his father took notice of this problem then withdrew him from school and sent him to a civil servant school named Realschule. In 1904 he quit Realschule and joined another school named Steyr only to quit in 1905. For 2 years he did no schooling and only art. His dream even as a child was to be an artist but for a short time he wanted to be a priest. When his 2 years of art was done he thought that his art was great so he traveled to Vienna, Austria for it. When he took the entrance exam he ended up failing tremendously. He tried the exam again but failed again. That then brought Hitler to a dark depression and he disappeared for 5 years.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1989, in Braunau-am Inn, located near the Austrian-German border. Hitler dropped out of school at age 16 with the hopes of becoming an artist in Vienna. However, his goal of becoming an artist failed and he spent time in Vienna listening to Karl Laagers ideas, especially his belief in anti-semitism. enlisted in the German Army at the Start of World War One. During this time, Hitler served in the Bavarian Regiment, achieved the rank of Corporal, was primarily a message runner, and narrowly escaped death on several occasions. When Germany surrendered, Hitler was outraged and wanted to keep fighting. In 1919, Hitler joined the Nationalist Socialist German Workers Party (later to become the Nazi Party) and was in Charge by 1921. In 1923, they attempted to overthrow the German government and Hitler served a 9 month jail term. By 1933, Hitler had the support of the German people and was named Chancellor by President Hindenburg and Nazis had the most power in Parliament.
Hitler did not do particularly well in school, leaving formal education in 1905. Unable to settle into a regular job, he drifted. He wished to become an artist but was rejected from the Academy in Vienna. (http://www.history.co.uk/biographies/adolf-hitler)

Adolf Hitler was born in Branay an Inn, Austria on April 20, 1889. He was the fourth of six siblings and the son of Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl. He was three years old when they moved to Germany. Through his years, Hitler clashed with his father on many things, but the main problems were Alois' disapproval of Hitler’s interest in fine arts and in German nationalism. His desire for nationalism would eventually become the main force of his life.
