Adolf Hitler Psychology Profile
Introduction Adolf Hitler is one of the most interesting people in history in my opinion. He becomes even more interesting when you look at his childhood and how it was effected with an abusive father and other traumatic instances. He exhibited PTSD and anxiety disorders with many examples of their characteristic later in his life. Most people think of Hitler as someone that would get on his microphone and wave his hands around, demanding respect. But later in World War II he became increasingly nervous or outright unable to go speak to the German people. He was incapable of public criticism and tried to stay in his own close circle towards the end of the war.

Four of his siblings died before they entered adulthood, most even before Hitler was born. From the start of Hitler’s life it was full of loss from his early life. He was constantly moving from town to town because of his father’s work. At the age of 16 his father died, Hitler despised him, it was actually more of a positive event because it allowed Hitler to pursue his lifetime dream of becoming an artist. A quote from Mein Kampf summed up his feelings, “I respected my father, but I loved my mother (Hitler, 1925).” Then at the age of 18 his mother passed away due to breast cancer, she was treated by a Jewish doctor coincidentally.
Baseline Behavior In Hitler’s youth he was “quiet, well-mannered and neatly dressed (Bloch, 1941).” Eduard Bloch was his family’s doctor and even treated his mother for her breast cancer. Hitler was described as introverted by many accounts. Being tidy and organized were also important to him growing up and even when he served in World War I. He also was patriotic and even became depressed when Germany surrendered to the allies. This could have been for a few reason though, such as Hitler not having much of a home to go back to and another reason being that he saw military service as his “calling” of sorts.

In all honestly it is based on one event, although that event showed perfect examples of this disorder. Some of the criteria for this disorder includes decreased energy, insomnia, difficulty concentrating, making decisions, and suicide. All of these Hiter showed based on Doctor’s notes and events that occurred during World War II. Hitler was almost buried on the battlefield in World War I, in the time after this event he feared being buried. I did not think it fit under a phobia though, it did not consume him constantly.
The last disorder that I characterized to have is General Anxiety Disorder. General Anxiety Disorder is characterized by the following excessive worrying for more than six months, difficulty concentrating, difficulty falling asleep, trembling, and sweating. All of these I picked out of a longer list, these all are characteristics that Hitler showed. A specific example of trembling and being afraid to make public appearances, he became scared of public criticism and stayed with his close circle towards the end of the
Persuasive, indicative, radical, idealist, these are just a few words to describe Adolf Hitler.Adolf Hitler is one of the most well-recognized faces in history.Growing up with an emotionally harsh father, and enlisting in the army at the age of 25.Hitler’s life is filled with emotional challenges, harsh war experiences, crushed dreams, and family turmoil. This is Hitler’s story.
With radical ideas and the capability to influence, Hitler is one of the most influential people of the twentieth century. His ideology was able to change and shape the views of many level headed and intelligent people. Given the fact that Hitler will remain a prominent figure for some time in society, one can only pray that the influence he has on society will soon be depleted and that the world will be rid of this madman’s ideals.
...or group of people that posed a threat to his ideologies. He ordered to have his generals and subordinates who did not side with him on very important issues, hanged. From a careful look at the life of Hitler and what he did from the beginning of his political career through to the end of his life shows a man who was mentally ill. There were other people in his generation who went through a hard childhood and there were people during that age and time who were tortured in prison; but not all of them rose to power and committed atrocities like Adolf Hitler did. Hitler exhibited some very weird physical attributes like his infantilism and some very complicated personal qualities like love for decapitation. His ideologies were very inhumane too. All these points to a man who was not crazy as influenced by his environmental or social factors but mentally was not stable.
Adolf Hitler wasn’t always a horrible person. He wasn’t always torturing innocent victims. He was once a victim himself. Traumatic experiences in his adolescence life led him to become such a careless dictator.
The way Hitler acted as an adult could have been a result of the way he was treated as a child. HItler and Paula the two out of the eight children who survived childhood. Abusing children leads to devastating results, was this a result of hitler being so
Hitler did many unthinkable horrible things during his lifetime. Adolf Hitler was a man with great dreams and has great leadership qualities. Hitler is considered as the most hated and evil person in the history mainly because of the Holocaust. We should be a man like Hitler in his brilliance and should not be like him in his beliefs.
Most people in the world only think of one thing when the name Adolf Hitler is said. They think of the horrific thing he did to the non-Aryan population. Although these actions are terrible and unforgiveable, Hitler was not always that sort of person. He started his life in a much different way and was actually an extremely intelligent individual. He was innovative and brilliant, and had originally moved to Vienna to become an artist, but his intentions shifted into something much more sinister over time. Through an exploration of his life, it is easy to see that there is much more to Hitler then just the Holocaust.
Centuries later and the name Adolf Hitler still rings volumes till this present day: discussed in history books, talked about amongst intellects and commoners alike, and despised by many for years to come. Upon hearing his name many may think of all the negative things Hitler has done, but few fail to analyze just how one man created such controversy amongst a nation without being stopped. The question then lies how does a man reign over country and devastate it for years to come? Adolf Hitler, a man who excelled in persuasion and charisma was able to reign over Germany for years. Born in Austria April 20th 1889, Hitler grew up with many hardships in his life.
Hitler was a great and hypnotic speaker who fascinated the Germans who were desperate for change. He swore the suffering people a better life and a new, wonderful Germany. The Nazis appealed greatly to the unemployed, young people, and the people who belonged to the lower middle class.
Adolf Hitler, its amazing how one name can trigger a thousand thoughts and emotions. How can one name so easily send shivers down our spines and send our minds into a frenzy of thought in the same breath? The main reason behind this is we are aware that Hitler was largely responsible for the Holocaust, by far the largest and most gruesome genocide in modern history. An estimated 50 million lives were lost during this era, the mourning for those lost will echo through the ages. However, as time elapses since the Holocaust we are beginning to see an emergence of a new Hitler in contemporary texts that begin to humanize him, rather than demonize. Until now, the mainstream representation of Hitler is that of a stereotypically ‘evil’ discourse. These texts paint a very dark picture.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Austria. Actually, his real name is Adolphus Heidler. While in his childhood it was very noticeable that he was a leader. He was also very pampered by his mother Klara. He loved her dearly and was very devastated about her lose to breast cancer in 1903. His father on the other hand was disliked and respected by his son. When his death occurred in 1907, Hitler wasn't nearly as disappointed in his death than as his mothers. Adolf had a total of 7 brothers and sisters. Hitler's religion was German Catholic but later in his life he would become anti-Jew.
Hitler’s life was conflicted in so many ways, first his childhood , schooling, and political. hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Austria Hungary; his mother doted on him from the start, she already lost three children to disease and desperate for the fourth one to survive. Hitler would later boast that he was his mother’s darling (Price, 16). Adolf childhood was dominated by conflict with his father, Alois Hitler (Price, 17). At age 15 he was failing several subject in school. His teacher were fed up with him; he hated all his teacher except one, Dr. Leonard Poetsch was a fierce German nationalist (Price, 17). At age 16 Hitler dropped out of school (Price, 19). Hitler father wanted him to follow in his footsteps and work for the government (Price, 17).
Hitler is a very mysterious guy full of surprises in his past, but with him being so mysterious also means asking a lot of questions such as, what did Hitler do before he died? Or what role he had in the Holocaust? Or even how he rose into power? Hitler had many crazy ideas about how Jews should not be considered humans and by that he segregated the Jews from everyone else. Throughout his life he had an uprising in power, he had a huge role in the Holocaust, and he had many events that he part took in before he died.
Adolf Hitler’s horrible actions cannot be attributed to a drug addiction, or just being evil. It was a combination of a mental illness, and a mental disorder that caused him to take the actions. He suffered from a narcissistic-borderline personality disorder. He did not suddenly become mad towards the end of the war, but had been unstable his entire life; when under greater stress, it became more prevalent. A narcissistic personality, which is categorized as a mental disorder can be described as, “driven to control and manipulate others.” The narcissist is constantly seeking praise and when he does not receive it he gets bored, but “with his paranoid features he can avoid this emptiness and even feel deeply engaged when defending himself against imagined enemies,” giving him the feeling of purpose. Narcissists also experience fits of rage that can be unbearable and they may project it onto someone else and then believe the anger originated from that person, or persons. “Controlling, manipulating, and grandiose actions are often justified by the narcissistic personality as ways of coping with such unrealistic threats.” This description fits perfectly with Hitler’s view toward the Jews. He had no true reason to hate them or feel that they were ruining the German race. He created these ideas in his mind and they only got worse over the years to the point where he took action them and then tried to exterminate them completely.
Adolf Hitler is known to be one of the “greatest” leaders in history who had abused his powers and had shattered his country apart. Born in 1889 in Austria, Hitler abused his powers because of his greedy ego and because of his narcissism. It all became with Hitler organizing a party called the National Socialist, most popularly know as the Nazi Party. The rise of the Nazi Party was the thing that led to the start of Hitler’s rein and his abuse of power. The Nazi Party eventually led Adolf Hitler to come to rule and had given Hitler the chance to take control the entire nation.
