My second gallery review is on the work of Philip Denker. I analyzed the art work at his exhibit; OVER + UNDER”. I saw his exhibit Friday November 15, 2013 at 11:00 am at Trifecta gallery inside the arts factory. When I walked into the room I loved that the room was illuminated with the light of the light bulbs, as well, with the natural illumination of the sun coming through the glass windows and door. When I got inside the room I also noticed it was spacious, and the pieces were very well ordered. The pieces were hung vertically or horizontally, and I liked this because it got my attention.
This proposal will explain the experimental aim and objectives, purpose, hypothesis, literature research, procedure and timeframe of the experiments.
I have been interested in many subjects through my years in high school; though many of my fascinations have died out over time I still respect and love English. Half of my family is built on poets and story writers, so when I announced my curiosity about this subject they jumped at the opportunity and fed me the idea of being an English major. No one on either side of my family has either: never attended college or never finished. I have many plans on being the first woman in my family to go and graduate at a university or college.
The Child Development Center of College of San Mateo provides early care and educational programs for children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old. Children are divided into classrooms with a “master” teacher, a “regular” teacher, and two or three “associate” teachers. Klara attended Classroom, “A,” a stimulating and well-resourced classroom. Klara was observed for two hours on Monday from 9 am to 11 am and for two hours on Wednesday from 9 am to 11 am. During these two hours, classroom activities consisted of “free time,” “story time,” and an outside “play time.” A “master” teacher, a “regular” teacher, and two “associate” teachers were present during observations. Additionally, a total of eighteen children were in attendance during the observed days.

I have many reasons I want to become an early childhood teacher.one of them, is that I think that the early childhood education is fundamental to build up the base for children’s future formation. It is the foundation for the new generations and their future.
The following case study is considering the influence of developmental factors on our teaching practice, by providing further ways to apply knowledge of childhood development in a realistic classroom situation. This case study response, will demonstrate an understanding of intellectual, physical language, emotional, moral, social and psychological development of children. As well as the ability to identify learning and teaching approaches that cater to the developmental needs of students within the classroom.
It is a technique of getting information with sociological interest by means of questionnaire that was developed earlier as with the help of questionnaire, the researcher can get the opinion and assessment of selected subject with a sample on given topic. Thus, survey is assumed as a series of questions, which is addressed to participants in research. The surveys are administered in person by telephone, and through email or internet. It is mainly managed by an individual or group. However, the surveys are helpful in getting information regarding many people that includes multiple choice and open questions like demographic information, beliefs, health, skills, and attitudes. Under the recommendation of Primary Education Review and Implementation (PERI) Committee in 2009, Ministry of Education and primary schools had since started their journey on Holistic Development for pupils. Different programs were launched and gradually introduced into the schools. Our class has discussed our views on the programs introduced and how different schools run the programs to nurture our pupils.

In the art community there is a lot of controversy in distinguishing what the difference between an artist and a designer. Designers are told they are not artist and they need to stop thinking they are artist. When dealing with art and design specific demographics and viewers interpret the messages of each subject in different ways. Art is said to be elucidated and design is said to be understood. Artists usually develop a work of art with the intention of bringing an emotion viewpoint, instinctive feeling, and or state of mind. When you look at an artist work it cannot be limited to just exhibiting one individual thought or just one individual meaning. That is a big difference when it comes to graphic design. Graphic design usually has a very specific goal and point to make. When dealing with graphic design there should not be any room or space for any mixed messages or multiple meanings. The audience of the design should immediately understand the design that the designer created. Art connects to people differently in so many ways. The only reason it connects to people in different ways is only because it is interpreted differently.
This research applied descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research were 2 teachers, teaching in class one and two, and 6 students of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa which was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The primary instrument of the research was the researcher herself who observed and recorded behaviors but did not participate in the life of the setting being studied (Gay, et al 2006:414). The secondary instruments in this research were interview guide and field notes. To collect data from classroom, two of the three main strategies which were suggested by Gay et al (2006:413) would be applied, namely observation and interview. Data analysis was conducted by using the interactive model of Huberman and Miles in Denzin and Lincoln (1998: 429) covering three strategies:
Entering my kindergarten teaching experience in the last quarter of school year I had to quickly become familiar with kindergarten content standards and the school’s curriculum. To do this I observed my mentor teachers instructional time with the children and gained as much information as I could about the children’s educational standing by developing a professional relationship with the my mentor teacher and the children. I learned that the majority of my kindergarten children had not previously attended preschool and that this was their first year of school. I found that interacting with the children in social activities provided me with great insight to their literacy, math, science, and social studies development. In reviewing the children’s class projects, school displays, and an array of their work sample along with my mentor teachers year-long assessments I was able to recognize challenging, emerging and advanced content areas of the children’s core curriculum. These emerging and challenging content areas is what I centered my curriculum planning around. “Information about each child’s learning and development is used to evaluate teaching effectiveness. This may lead to changes in schedule, curriculum and teaching strategies, room set up, resources, and so on.” (Bredekamp and Copple, p. 249)

Striating from the research idea to the culmination of the findings, the research process entails many segments, all of which are imperative. By choosing the research methodology, the researchers can formulate the path to be used in conducting the study and reporting the findings. The methodology helps in the search of literature, development of research questions and the creation of the most suitable study design. It also assists in the interpretation of the results and the publication of the findings in journals.
