If evolution was to make humanity increasingly diverse, human beings would reject the notion of difference. From history, humanity has always resisted change and differences and has been defined by the Me/We/Us against the You/Them/Other. Acceptance has never been easy. Acceptance is a hard choice. It is tough to accept and understand why things have to change. Because of fear, people do not want to face change. What tends to happen is that people avoid change because they are comfortable with their current choices and how human beings have been reproducing for centuries. A potential benefit would be an increase of diversity and contribution to advancement. Every individual and human species has their own role in the world. By dividing the human species, the subgroups would avoid arguments and competitions against each other and help the world advance in bigger and better ways. Another possible benefit of having mutants is if mutants have superpowers to save or be a helping hand for humans. This can either be positive or negative depending on how these mutants would "help". Mutants may provide potential risks to human beings and other creatures in the world. If mutants are trained to cause harm, this will cause danger to the existing creatures and humans. For example, Stryker gathered a group of mutants of his own to murder other mutants. Even though Stryker wanted to destroy the mutant-kind, he did have a group of mutants to kill other innocent mutants. The mutants did not get to choose their method or life style of being born. If they were able to choose, they would have chosen to be born as a traditional human being to not get themselves involved with the mutant
