It’s no doubt that our world today is full of unsolved, contentious and controversial issues. Most of them relate to morals, religions or ethics thus create many strong opinions in “yes” and “no” or “good” and “bad” sides. Abortion is one of those sensitive issues. There are numerous proponents and opponents of abortions in the US. Proponents of abortion believe that unwanted pregnancies can be very stressful for women and they should have the right to make decisions about their bodies. However, abortion is seriously wrong because killing a fetus is killing a person. And obviously, death is the end of life for the fetus when the fetus should have the right to have a life just like ours.
Abortion has been used to controlled fertility in every society on the world. Over the centuries, there is a rich history about women help each other to abort. Abortion was not considered illegal in US until 1880, by which time most states had banned to protect the life of the woman. However, even it has been banned, abortion is still widely practice. Rich women who could afford to pay skilled doctors or go to another country to have the safest and easiest abortion. But for those women, who are poor and lack of knowledge about health had to run the greatest risk with illegal abortion or “black market” abortion. In 1950s, about a million abortions were practiced per year in the US, and over a thousand women died each year as a result. Considering American ethics and values, death is morally wrong. Therefore, the killing of unborn fetuses is morally wrong as well. For that reason, abortion should be outlawed and considered as a cruel, unnatural and absolutely immoral human act.

...very stressful for stressful for women. And women should have the right to make decisions about their own bodies. She should be able to decide whether to keep the fetus or not. In fact, once a woman gets pregnant, there is already a life inside her body. The baby begins life in the first week of pregnancy. And obviously, it is not her body anymore, because her body does not have 2 heads, 4 hands, 2 beating hearts and 2 different DNA.
It is cruel that millions of helpless babies have to die each year because of the irresponsibility of the parents. They should not have the right to kill the babies. No matter how small and young, every life should have the same right to live. This is the reason why abortion is an act of cruelty and immorality and a “massacre of innocence”. It should become illegal in order to maintain stability and safety for the world.
Abortions have been a much known topic for the century in the United States. It is a topic that has been debated on whether or not it should be illegal. Some people think that to have an abortion is a sin. Some think that women who abort children are evil, and are murderers. Often they do not understand the reason on why babies are aborted. It requires our immediate attention because each day and year, there are many children that are aborted and less babies that are able for adoption. Soon to be mothers are often affected by this problem. Abortions should be outlawed all together. There needs to be a solution to this problem.
Diana Brown, a representative at the International Humanist and Ethical Union at the United Nations in Geneva, argues the main reasons why abortion should be legal and unrestricted. She asserts that abortion should be legal because if it is unavailable, women will resort to harmful methods of termination of an undesired pregnancy. Furthermore, the rights of the mother should supercede the rights of a fetus as it is in question whether or not a fetus is viable. Fetuses show no signs of awareness to their surroundings until the second trimester and therefore their rights should not take precedence over a woman’s. Brown ascertains that making abortions illegal does not save babies, but rather it kills mothers. Eighty thousand women die every year after participating in unsafe methods of terminating a pregnancy. Rather than removing the practice of abortion, society should be narrowing its efforts into removing the causes of abortion and teaching about protected sex and contraceptive methods.
On average, about 1.21 million abortions are executed annually from unintended pregnancies. Many people believe that a woman should have the choice to abort the life that she created. But they do not take into consideration that the word unintended essentially means accidental. Most people do not look ahead before they do something. Why should a baby’s choice of life be taken away when they did not have the choice to be created. It wasn’t their mistake that they were created. Once life is established, it should not be destroyed. Abortion should be illegal because it is a form of murder, there are lots of alternatives to abortion and many ways to prevent pregnancy, and because a woman’s physical and psychological health can be damaged in and after the process.
Since 2003, 3,503 American soldiers have died while fighting in the Iraqi War (“Casualties in Iraq”). Similarly, 3,562 American babies have died due to abortion—but that is since yesterday. This jaw-dropping statistic is painful to even try to fathom, but is all too true. Every year, 42 million unborn babies are killed worldwide because of many various reasons that most often point to the fact that the mother is either extremely selfish or inanely uniformed (“Abortion Statistics”). This inhumane act has become a somewhat acceptable option for ending an unintended pregnancy in society today; however, a deed as despicable and morally reprehensible as abortion should not be allowed anywhere, especially in a society as developed and civilized as America. Abortion should not be legal because side effects of abortion are traumatic and severe and can scar women physically and emotionally for life, abortion unnecessarily ends the lives of unborn babies because life begins at conception, and there other options are readily available that do not result in trauma or loss of life.
Approximately 1.6 million murders are committed legally each year. While the mutilated bodies of the victims lay waiting in infested dumpsters to be hauled off to a landfill, the murderers are in their offices waiting for their next patient. This is the murder of an innocent child by a procedure known as abortion. Abortion stops the beating of an innocent child’s heart. People must no longer ignore the scientific evidence that life begins at the moment of conception. People can no longer ignore the medical and emotional problems an abortion causes women. People must stop denying the facts about the procedure, and start hearing the silent screams of unborn children. The argument by the pro-abortion side is that the unborn child is not truly a child. Pro-abortionists believe that life begins at birth and that a fetus is only a blob of tissue until it is born. Abortion is the dismembering and killing of a human life-an unborn baby- not just a “blob of tissue”. “ But it is scientific and medical fact based on experimental evidence, that a fetus is a living, growing, thriving human being, directing his or her own development” (Fetal Development). A fetus is not just a blob of tissue; rather a fetus is Latin for “offspring or young one.” At a US Senate Judiciary Subcommittee meeting, most scientists said that life begins at conception or implantation of the embryo. No scientist at the meeting claimed that life begins at birth (Factbot). Professor Hymie Gordon of the Mayo clinic stated “…by all criteria of modern biology, life is present from the moment of conception” (fetal development). Not only has science proven that a fetus is truly a human, the simple facts also confer abortion kills t...
It is almost unanimously agreed upon that the right to life is the most important and sacred right possessed by human beings. With this being said, it comes as no surprise that there are few issues that are more contentious than abortion. Some consider the process of abortion as immoral and consisting of the deprivation of one’s right to life. Others, on the opposite end of the spectrum, see abortion as a liberty and a simple exercise of the right to the freedom of choice.
It is wrong to kill innocent humans. Think about not having any say in regardless of whether you need to have an existence. Well infants don't have a decision in their mom's womb. On the off chance that a lady chooses to prematurely end her infant, they can't take care of their life being detracted from them. Their entire future is destroyed. I ensure abortion isn't right while submitting it for a narrow-minded reason.
Abortion rates are high these days and many have tried to stop it. I agree with them because the rate of abortion is 2,900 per day, 137 per hour, and 2.3 per minute. Even with all the protests, the rate just goes higher and higher. By 8 weeks, the babies start to look like an actual human being, and that is upsetting because just imagine that a miniature human being is looking at you while you kill it and take it out of its mother just because she did not want it. I believe we should get rid of abortion.
The first cry, the first touch, seeing it’s little fingers reach out and hold on to a mother’s hand; this baby will become the person who cured cancer. But wait. It never even had a chance to breathe. Mothers say that they were not ready to bring a beautiful life into the world but the baby never had a say in the mother’s decision to takes it life. Abortion affects not only the baby, but the mom, the father, and everyone that knows about the wonderful miracle of life. Abortion, though legal in the United States, should be made illegal because it is morally wrong and murder.
Do you ever wonder why women decide to abort their pregnancy? Is there anything that is more frustrating than knowing that you can’t do anything about it? In the United States, there are approximately 1.21 million abortions every year and 3,315 every day. Also, in the entire world there are forty-two million every year and 115,000 every day. This is a superfluous amount of innocent lives taken. Abortion is badly affecting our society today. People in huge numbers feel it to be evil as it kills an unborn for no reason. Conversely, others believe that it is a woman’s legal right to choose abortion especially in case of incest, rape, or health issues threatening the life of a mother. To kill unborn using dreadful procedures is not only wrong for the doctors to perform, but morally wrong too.
Life is a magical and rewarding thing to experience, yet millions of new little souls are losing their privilege to live. Every life starts out as being an embryo, then moves on to being a fetus. However, there is no medical proof on when a fetus is considered to be a living being. No matter what kind of medical proof comes out, that is a life being developed. Those people who plan on aborting their tiny bundle of joy are making the cruelest mistake. Their kid could have been adopted by loving parents or could have even found the cure to cancer. Therefore, abortion should not be performed because taking away a life is never the answer.
Innocent babies die before they step foot into this world, because of cruel decisions that some mothers make. Most people abuse it too much that it has gotten out of hand, because all they think about is themselves. Abortion should be illegal, people should think about what might happen first than just abusing this and doing it with no regards of human life.
Abortion has been accepted by the United States of America ever since the monumental Roe vs. Wade case in the early 1970’s, but is still a very controversial issue. Many people are for and against abortions. Some people say that the child inside its mother’s womb deserves the opportunity to live, while others believe that a mother has the right to choose whether or not her fetus can live or die. Other advocates for abortion claim that abortion helps keep the threat of overpopulation down. They also say that in many extreme cases, it is in the best interest of the mother and the child that the fetus be aborted. Abortion helps keep the crime rate low, so it should remain legal, they also say.
Abortion has been one of the most talked about topics in society just about anywhere from television, magazines, whether or not it should be the right or wrong thing to do. Abortion is a very sensitive issue to discuss, because of its nature. Many people have said that abortion is a very bad thing to do and it should not even be choice whether or not to abort a living fetus. People think that abortion is committing murder as it is killing the human fetus. However, others feel that a woman should have a voice and have the right to choose to keep the child or not and that it is not murder until the baby is born. Majority of individuals who believe that abortion is bad say that the fetus is human who is partly being formed and to have an abortion is considered to be murder. For the people who think an abortion is ok, say that it’s not considered murder unless the child is born. I believe that abortion should be seen in which the stage the fetus is in. if the fetus is in an early stage of pregnancy it is not considered murder, but if the fetus has already began to develop into a larger fetus then it is indeed considered to be murder. There are times when abortion can be accepted, if the mother is having complications due to pregnancy. For example if the mother is enduring complications in her pregnancy that can harm her, because of the child in that case it is ok to perform an abortion to help save the mother’s life. It is also very important to understand this type of situation. The mother has the right to have an abortion and it is her decision because a mother knows best about her health conditions.
Do you believe we should have to power to choose rather someone one lives or not? Is it really our decision to make? Many people in our society have debated this question for a long time. What it all boils down to is if a mother should be allowed to abort her baby or not. Also if she is allowed to when is the baby considered a human being and why is she being allowed to kill it without any repercussions that would normally come along with murder. Many people believe that the mother has the sole right to abort her baby whenever she wants to, and for whatever reasons. Others believe that even though she has the right to abort her pregnancy that at some point the baby has a heartbeat, and she should not
