As we progressed for the day, different dimensions of a leader came alive. From a transformational leader like Mahatma Gandhi and George Washington to transactional leaders like Alford Hitler, no matter how opposite, they can be equally effective as leaders. A vivid combination of expertise, authority, charisma, strategy, relationship management, etc. is what can play a vital role in making you a better leader. I infer that your power to influence a crowd and your ability to make them trust your vision adds to your potential as a leader. Further, not only humans, but even animals and insects show leadership trails. In the beehive, all the bees understand the queen bee to be their authority.
As all the students brought up the examples of vibrant leaders, each one being different pages of the same novel name leadership, I believe that there is something to learn from all of them. To cite a few, Lincoln had the ability had the ability to listen to the whole team. He knew where to stop the discussion and how to make a final decision (Moreton, 2008). Nelson Mandela said “We have to surprise [the white minority] with restraints and generosity” (Schoemaker, 2014). His interpretation of history said that Prosperity of South Africa depends upon the ability of their leaders to forgive each other. Martin Luther King Jr. knew that his dream of equality ...

...adership was refreshed in my memory while working with my group for the preparation of presentation for this class. One of us took the initiative of finding out the video clips and the rest of us agreed. Another one among us showed the leadership qualities and made sure all of our articles summaries and complied and e-mailed; as well as dry run the presentation to see that each one of our slides fit in the right frame. For the teammates this was what we call an informal leader of the group.
While I summarize all my learning and experiences, I infer that leadership had plenty of dimensions. A leader is expected to be dynamic enough to change according to the situation, subordinates, teammates, culture, expectations etc. S/he cannot be rigid to one type of situation and practice; but is expected to flow into the leadership dynamics and prosper with every experience.
