If we take a step back from the world that we live in today, we can see that people are very different all over the world. This is because people all over the world, or even in different areas in the same part of the world have different views. Looking at how different people’s religion is on an individual level we can see that they vary from believing in Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, no religion, or many more. These different types of religions can lead people into having different beliefs. Since people aren’t the same all over the world it may lead every individual to see things differently and when asked what is the meaning of life. Those who fail to focus on survival as their meaning of life ultimately end up dead and lose their life. Therefore, everyone around the world is forced to work because if they don’t they can’t obtain items necessary to survive. These items consist of things such as food, water, and shelter. Even if we look back to ancient civilizations these common items were essential to allow people to survive and made their life all about survival. Although they did not work like we do today, they still must work to acquire these items. For shelter they would build basic huts out what ever material was around them to keep out rain and protect them from the environment. They would even farm to produce food and would form hunting raids with the members of the town to obtain meat. To obtain water they would preferable build their civilization near a river and have people go on runs to collect water. These were jobs that people had and were their meaning of life. Without doing these they would have no life so their life would have no meaning because they would be dead. If the entire civilization or groups ignored these tasks they would starve to
