Now a day’s organisations have to face vibrant market. Quickness, flexibility and configuration are the main practices which have to be used by the organisation to be in this competitive market. In this report we (consultant) are going to carry out a ‘short audit’ of one day and understand the present performance of the clients’ supply chain systems then recommend possible improvements to the potential client. Quick Scan Audit Methodology (QSAM) will be the best technique used for a short audit. QSAM is an effective method through which we can collect quality and quantity of data from a supply chain. Introduction: Many organisations are under pressure because of customer, as customer need accessibility and reduce lead times, at the same time organisations have to look the economic performance through effective use of capital. The solution to this problem is by improving the efficiency of the complete supply chain from supplier to the internal manufacturer to the delivery of goods to the customer. A method has been developed to overtake a quick scan of supply chain and highlight measured opportunities for improving the quality, price, services and lead time of the supply chain. The first step of QSAM is to find an appropriate supply chain. In our case we have applied QSAM to vertically integrated company. Obtaining ‘buy in’ from the people who will be involved is important in order to allow information gathering and ownership of the resolution. In this stage the space for study is advanced, mostly through the identification of which products to be monitored through the data analysis phase.
