Being a nursing assistant has many responsibilities because every patient is different since every patient might have different problems. “Home Health Aide provide this assistance by visiting people in their homes and doing basic house work, such as cooking grocery shopping, and laundry. Home Health Aides also assist clients with personal care” (“Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center”). When the nurse wants to go to a resident’s house instead of a nursing home the nurse may have more responsibilities because going to a resident’s house has more things to do. Since the patient can’t do much or doesn’t have anybody to look for them the nurse has to help them with more stuff than just checking their vital signs. As a nursing assistant there’s more than just being a nurse there’s times where the patient might want someone to be there to listen to them or make prayers or even give them advises or anything that they might think it’s important for them. Although the responsibilities for a home health aide are really important so that the patient can be in their best condition, it’s also important to see the job outlook to consider the job in the
o Type of healthcare worker: Nurse practitioner o When this type of work entered the market: The medical profession of nurse practitioner was developed in the mid 1960s. The job of nurse practitioners grew from implementing work from primary care physicians into that of traditional nurses. o Reasons for creation and growth: In the late 1950s and early 1960s, increased specialization amongst physicians was taking place, which led to many doctors exploring other avenues of medicine, resulting in a large shortage of physicians practicing primary care. This left many rural and inner city areas with very limited access to medical care.
In the working world of home health aides demands are high and pay is incredibly low. The easy to fulfil requirements invite workers in but the hourly pay and the demanding to do list required of them doesn 't make them stay long term. It also doesn 't help that there 's not much room for advancement in the feild. A job as a home health aide is looked at more as a stepping stone instead of a career choice.
When I am older I would love to be a Nurse Practitioner, I enjoy helping people when they are sick and taking care of them. Another reason I want to be a Nurse Practitioner is because my sister is also a Nurse Practitioner.

A Certified Nursing Assistant has a very demanding job. It drains a person's physical strength by lifting residents but, it can drain the worker of emotions as well because of the loss, pain, and abandonment surrounding many residents. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and I believe the hardest part of my job is getting attached to a resident as they pass away. The death of a resident leaves preparing their body the Certified Nursing Assistant's responsibility so their families can say goodbye and the funeral director can take them to the funeral home. The whole process takes a minuscule amount of time, thirty minutes or less, once someone knows the process. However, the body needs respect and care even after death.Preparing a body is emotional for the worker and the family. Start by gathering the supplies to prepare the body. First,

Even though nursing is a promising career and offers job security, the
What is the central component of advanced practice nurses (APNs) direct clinical practice and patient/families?
On the other hand, Both jobs involve a different level of care when helping patients. The job of a nurse and a Registered Nurse provide excellent care and make sure that all patients are getting quality care and respect. The main difference between the two is that instead of simply helping a Registered Nurse as a regular nurse with basic training, I would be helping a doctor if I was an RN because I would have more knowledge from going back to school to augment my skills. In contrast, Registered nurses have a better income than nursing assistants, they make more and the job is more intense. It is a nurse's responsibility to make sure the patient is safe. The difference between regular nurses and RN’s is that RN’s have a higher education and have to go to college to practice nursing and actually get a degree, unlike a nursing assistant that only receives a certificate when training is complete. Moreover, nurses can make decisions on the patient based on their condition versus a certified nursing aid that can't make any kind of decision on a patient's
May people have experienced some form of nursing care in their lives. This is because a nurse is very important in the healthcare world. As a nurse you can work in schools, hospitals, clinics, jails, etc. The demand for nursing is high because a nurse is the functional unit for the delivery of healthcare at the patient level. The true role of the nurse is simple and complicated at the same time. Yes, nurses deliver medicines, check vitals, and gives shots, but their role is much deeper and complex then those tasks. A nurse is also there to help a grieving patient or family after a difficult diagnosis or death. A nurse has the role of caregiver, social worker, friend, and spiritual guide as well. In nursing school a nurse is provided with all the skills necessary to provide appropriate medical care but also how to care for a patient emotionally and spiritually as well. The roles of a nurse are not so cut and dry. Nurses today are well rounded and are open to filling these different roles in he...
The impact nurses have on their patients physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually is astonishing. They are a fundamental key in society and we may tend to overlook the impact of their job. Nurses are responsible for many different duties in their everyday life not just patient care but providing support and advice to patients and their loved one. They must be able to balance the emotional aspect that comes with their job in order to maintain an emotionally healthy life. They witness patients in chronic or acute physical or mental ill health and must know what techniques to use in order to make the time with their patient sufficient.
During high school, nurses usually took and excelled at classes science and math based such as chemistry, biology, and algebra. However, high school background does not matter in the process of becoming a nurse. To become a basic registered nurse, there are many routes to get to that goal. Though there are many other tracks to become a nurse, those are the most popular ones. In addition to nurses having to complete the program, nurses must acquire a nursing license by passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) (“How to Become a Registered Nurse”). To obtain a specialty a nurse must also go through certification for that specialty (“How to Become a Registered Nurse”). Those requirements could also vary depending on the state. However, unlike the other two specialties, nurse practitioners have to go back to attend school to obtain their master’s degree (“What Nurse Anesthetists, Nurse Midwives, and Nurse Practitioners
