“My Leader” Some supervisors and managers enthuse and stimulate, but most of them fail despondently to involve their workers and juniors. Although some of them run an extremely efficient team, yet their staff lives and works in panic, whereas, on the other hand, some are just supreme catastrophe and a gag to leaders all over. As far as a true leader in practical life is concerned; I will give this credit to my supervisor Colleen Watson, who is in a true sense a good administrator and role model in her professional career. She has an inspiring personality with all the characteristics to lead her team in a practical way. She is the person who has kept our team bound in a relationship as a family. Through her behavior, professional temperament, personal expertise and leading qualities, she actually knows how to lead the team. Colleen is the only leader who greatly influences me throughout my life. She is a leader to me because she taught me the benefits of caring for the environment and the simple things in life are not meant to be taken for granted. She also developed an environment that is safe for all employees to ask for help. People should not be viewed as weak if they ask for help. This is what helps to build great teams — joining weakness with strengths to get the goal accomplished. She helped employees to realize that it takes a wide variety of people to become the best and that they need to have the ability to be able to rely on everyone on their team, no matter how different another person may be. She respected differences among team members, customers and individual communities, on the other hand, she earned mutual trust by supporting our corporate values for promoting diversity in both the workforce and the company base.
