The Clash of Secular Thought and Religion

There has been a clash between secular thought and religion since its formation of societies in the classical age. Both have made an equal effect on the culture of each empire by influencing people to change their belief on the world. Major religions have made interactions, which affected some of their ideas for what they have become now. The major religions during the classical age are Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Jainism, Daoism, and Zoroastrianism. These religions also have similarities and differences between each other in which it has involved them to what they've become. The major empires that have affected are Persia, India, China, Greece, and Rome. These empires' culture has influenced by religion to the extent where it has changed their lifestyle. Although secular thought has made a huge impact on the world, world religion has affected history since its reemergence of empires by exchanging culture of their ideas during the classical age.
The major religions do have similarities among each other even though they taught people different concepts and direct people to different views of ideas. One similarity that each religion has in common is that they have a Supreme Being(s) they worship to and look up to when they are in need. But not all religions worship one Supreme Being, some actually worship many. The religions that are monotheistic are Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism. Although these religions worship only one Supreme Being, they do not worship the same one. Christianity worships God, who's the creator of heaven and earth. ...h it had shaped our societies now. These were not the only empires that had a drastic change. There were also the Americas that had a similar change, but because of the way education is taught in a Western point of view, the Americas are not well known as the Western side.
Overall, both secular thought and religion has made an impact in our societies to the point it has become more complex than it was before. There are many more religions and branches from the major religions in which it can be difficult to explain. There are still questions that are not yet answer by secular thought or religion. People will make their own choices on what they want to believe and stick to that. It can be difficult to figure out which is the right answer, but throughout these empires, people were able to make a living for what they had believed is true throughout their whole lives.
