He is a true genius and the way he thinks is very unique. Every once in awhile his college best friend, who was nonexistent in reality, shows up with a little girl who he forms a strong bond with. Along with those two came the very demanding and authoritative general that he worked for and always obeyed. These people may have been imaginary and no one else could see them, but Nash was unaware of this. He truly did believe that these people were alive and that they needed his help. Since he believed that these people were real, he thought that there was nothing wrong with him at all.
