Robert Hare is the author of “Without Conscious: The disturbing World of the Psychopaths among us.”This book is about knowing what a psychopath is and understanding what it is about so that people will not be caught off guard when they ran into someone with the disorder. This book focuses on confronting psychopaths, the behavior that these people exhibit and how these behaviors ultimately affect other people. These people have no remorse for the things that they do and how it ends up affecting other people because all they care about is themselves and getting what they want to get without hesitation and remorse for the other people that will be hurt in the process.
Some of the questions that are addressed in the book is what a psychopathy behavior is. How these people are able to behave this way and convince people that their behavior is ok. They are able to charmed their way into people’s lives only for their own selfish needs and once they are getting what they want they leave. What are the key symptoms of psychopathy which are signs that a person should be looking for when dealing with a person who is psychopathic. Another question is does the treatment or control of the psychopath rightly fall to mental health professionals or to the correctional system? These were some of the questions that were addressed in the book pertaining psychopathy.
Some of the most important information about psychopathy is that it is a personality disorder. These people are usually charming the way into people’s life to use and manipulate them to get what they want. The conclusions relate to other information, phenomena, and theories, because information about Psychopathy are related to another disorder such as sociopathy, psychotic, and many more disorders because it all interrelates to antisocial disorder which is people who do not like to associate with other people and they practically keep to themselves. These types of people normally do not conform well to rule that the society has and they have a hard time not breaking it. So, just has other research is being researched psychopathy disorder needs to be researched more, so that people will know what they are dealing with and so far as Dr. Hare has pioneered the term, another psychologist needs to follow up on it.
