Life is affected by technology on a daily basis. Thus, technology has developed in many ways in these modern times, and as did the mechanisms that apply to robots with artificial intelligence. Robots that have artificial intelligence do not exist yet but researchers all around the world are trying to develop this type of technology. Robot manufacturing has increased nowadays, with numerous companies making their own version of robots. However robots may reduce job opportunities for humans if they outsmart them, and the issue with the robots is how it will affect our future as to how will scientists plan to go with such technology. This essay will discuss a number of disadvantages that arise with the engagement of artificial intelligence, including the ethics and morals behind such evolution.
There has been a great use of large amount of money investment methods in production of goods and services. This use of machines has enormously reduced the number of employees, because there is an increase machine’s efficiency. This is because a single machine can perform more tasks therefore replacing many employees who could have been hired to carry out the same task, this means that one machine can do several different duties in an efficient way without taking a break or receiving a salary. The increased efficiency that results from use of machine might encourage institutes to adapt greater use of machines as opposed to human labor [4].

The writer Chris Farrell takes a keen approach to shed light on the new future economic scene. Starting off, Farrell says "The deepening gloom over jobs runs deeper than robots." Claiming that the US economy is at a critical point in remeniscent to the 18th century and Second Industrial Revolution, but now, with Robots. The wealth that can be generated from machines, bits and bytes, algorithms, and artificial intelligence will fundamentally shift our society. Rapid increase in workplace efficiency due to the robotic replacements. Farrell agrees, with change, jobs will be lost, but as with all previous techonological changes, adaptation created new jobs. Belief that the economy will run smoother due to high automated - efficiency and less human errors. The economy is already in flux due to the extended current redistribution of wealth plans, pay supplemented through union pressure, child labor laws, pensions, and other share-the-wealth strategies. The idea of a new implementation of redistributing wealth created by the robotic and digital economy, focus on ways to expand jobs and boost workers compensation can be set in motion.The biggest challenge is how to take our high-tech economy, and offer ordinary people the reality of jobs with decent wages and compensation ushering in progress.
In the article “Why robots, not trade, are behind so many factory job losses” by Paul Wiseman a senior editor in the Associated Press says “The vast majority of the lost jobs — 88 percent — were taken by robots and other homegrown factors that reduce factories' need for human labor.” He later adds on mentioning that Americans should put the blame on robots for the increase in unemployment. Wiseman argues using a statistical fact how robots and technology are responsible for taking our jobs. In a speech by Professor Moshe Vardi given to the to the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Vardi states how he believes in thirty years unemployment will increase by fifty percent since by then he believes technology will be so advanced it could basically do any humans job. He uses history to back up his argument since the Chinese and Russian industrial revolution destroyed so many jobs and affected millions of lives. On the other hand, companies like GM motors, Toyota, and Scion only use robots not only for the cheapness of labor over the years, but also for efficiency so there would not be any problems or major recalls. According to the LA times robots making industrial goods increased efficiency dramatically and increased production, but also caused depletion in labor jobs. “A true AI [artificial intelligence] would have immense economic potential, and when money is at stake, safety issues get put aside until real problems develop—at which time, of course, it may already be too late” (Sotala). The development of artificial intelligence technology has grown concern from society to whether or not it would be beneficial for the world as a whole. Artificial intelligence is known as artificial beings, or “robots”, that have a human-like intelligence. The use of this technology would cause more problems than solutions. However, many individuals believe that the use of artificial intelligence would bring positive results. Despite its potential, artificial intelligence technology would not be beneficial for society because human intelligence is hard to mimic, it would cause a threat to mankind and decrease jobs.

He notes that from analysis, it was determined that the U.S. market is highly polarized from existing technology. Artificial Intelligence, also known as AI, allows a machine to function as if the machine has the capability to think like a human. While we are not expecting any hovering cars anytime soon, artificial intelligence is projected to have a major impact on the labor force and will likely replace about half the workforce in the United States in the decades to come. The research in artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly at an unstoppable rate. So while many people feel threatened by the possibility of a robot taking over their job, computer scientists actually propose that robots would benefit a country’s efficiency of production, allowing individuals to reap the benefits of the robots. For the advantage of all, researchers and analysts have begun to mend the past ideas of human-robot interaction. They have pulled inspiration from literary works of Isaac Asimov whom many saw as the first roboticist ahead of his time, and have also gotten ideas of scholarly research done by expert analysts. These efforts have began to create an idea of a work force where humans and robots work together in harmony, on a daily basis.
When most people think of artificial intelligence they might think of a scene from I, Robot or from 2001: A Space Odyssey. They might think of robots that highly resemble humans start a revolution against humanity and suddenly, because of man’s creation, man is no longer the pinnacle of earth’s hierarchy of creatures. For this reason, it might scare people when I say that we already utilize artificial intelligence in every day society. While it might not be robots fighting to win their freedom to live, or a defense system that decides humanity is the greatest threat to the world, artificial intelligence already plays a big role in how business is conducted today.

Machine learning and automation has played a large role in the ever changing labor market with new industries gaining momentum and old industries becoming obsolete. With the increasing amount of research and improvements in automation, feelings of anxiety and disdain towards automation have become normal for workers. Jobs are lost to machines due to the convenience and efficiency that machines offer, however, not all types of jobs are replaced. The early 19th Century was marked by a rapid increase in employment on this basis: machinery transformed many workers from craftsmen to machine minders and although numbers fell relative to output – work was replaced by employment in factories (Stewart 1996, p.13).
Since people have started to work very often and tried to do the best that they can, they have become really mechanical and they have started to behave like machines. It can be also said that people have become a part of a machine which can be defined as whole world. It is not just the working that makes us like machines, also producing, consuming make us like machines and make us behave mechanical. Everything starts to become mechanical and the whole world is just routine, now. To conclude, robots could be the backbone of the society that will result in a technological revolution. Because of robots various characteristics that do not experience fear, nor exhaustion and they are precisely programmed, which make them able to help in case of need, housework, and factories production.
