Wedding rituals are different in various cultures. There is a lot of preparation that happens before, during,and after the wedding ceremony. Even though the wedding ritual do have similarities between each other they also contrast with each other. Hispanic Catholic weddings have their own ritual ways and so do Muslim (Islam) have their own way of celebrating the ritual.
The day of the Hispanic catholic wedding there are various things that are going on. The ceremony has to take place in a Catholic church since the church is God's home and he has to be present for the ceremony. The time of the wedding ceremony has to be negotiated with the priest and the last wedding ceremony is two hours before mass starts and usually last about an hour and a half. The wedding can take place during any season the person wants to get married and any date that is available. The wedding only takes place once unless the couple want to renew their wedding vows later on. There can be conflict with getting people to be able to attend the wedding ceremony since guest have work during the time of the ceremony even though various guest ask for the day off in advance. Preparation for the wedding usually starts from the moment the woman gets engaged and sends out engagement announcements. The wedding preparation is usually a couple of months to a year and is done in a fat pace. For a person to be able to get married in a Catholic church he or she has to have their baptism, confirmation, and a holy communion for the marriage to be a sacramental marriage.

...wedding have similarities and differences. Even though they are celebrated by different cultures it ends up meaning two people end up getting married. The ceremonies might be different but it is similar to each other in the way that both end up with a newly wed couple. Learning about this open my eyes on how people celebrate their weddings and how beautiful it must be to see how each culture celebrates a wedding.
