Websites designs are always changing and it can be difficult to keep up. Website designers must always keep up with the latest trendses and looks. You could think of website design like clothing facion were you must always have the best a newest things.
The unfornet thing is that the website owner begins to stop thinking of looks and begins think of other thing like content. Although the content is important design is is agreeable more important than one thinks. Lets quickly look at a typical user surfing the web and see what goes thorough the mind.
Jack is surfing the internet for new car. He searches for a red car and comes across site A. The description of the site looks good in his search engine so he clicks and goes to the site. He comes across a bleak white back page with some text and pictures. Even if the content the site is good the look feels unprofessional and outdated. Think of your website as your brick and morder store front. If the windows are dirty the sidewalk is full of leves and cob webs hang on the door the person will probably just move on.
Now jack counties his search and find another interesting site (B) description and clicks. He is presented with nice smooth red background and easy navigation. The site looks and feels professional and friendly. Jack will keep going through the site.
In the case of websites people do judge it by its cover. You can't be stuck in the 90's with a basic html page, things change just like everything else and if you want people to come in you must follow the trend.
If you search around the internet you are bound to find mind numming websites that make you want to step away. Alone the way I will give you a few examples of theses sites so you know what to stay...

• Try not to add large items like large pictures. Large pictures taken right off of our camera can be nasty on the web. If you directly embed them with html of example they can take forever to load on slower connections. It is recommend that if you must have pictures either shrink them for the web, or place them in some sort of web service like Flicker and then embed the picture.
We have coved a lot but have not even touched the surface. There is a lot more to learn, but by keeping a few of these important items in mind when building a site you should be able to keep yourself out of trouble. Just rember a few things, just because you can does not mean you should, CSS is your friend, clean is happy, and big not always better. Just by using these tips you should have a nice easy to use site that does not bore.
Web sites are just like magazines, newspapers, brochures, menus, or even directions on how to make nitroglycerin from house-hold goods, in that they all have to be put together in such a manner that whoever is reading or browsing over it will be able to clearly distinguish this from that. In this sense, a critique of any particular web site will have justification, while carefully considering also that this is an altogether new medium of information exchange. Now, all of this talk of togetherness is actually a general reference to basic design principles, such as color coordination, if color is used, text size, font choice/ style, art integration, accessibility, and just plain and simple design of the page. For example, it wouldn't be all that appealing to the eyeball if a page being viewed had all the text jumbled up in a corner, so small your eyes were bleeding by the time you figured out that it wasn't even worth the trouble. Darn. It's important to rememeber, especially these days, that what you read is as important as how it looks. Have you ever tried reading an interview in a Raygun magazine? Kinda hard, right? Design totally for its own sake is nice, as art that is, and admittedly it looks cool. However, it's two in the morning and you're standing in line at the corner 7-11 trying to pay for your 40 ounce bottle of Kool-Aid, and you happen to see that your favorite MTV Pearl Crap-clone band is on the cover of this hip magazine and you go to read it, but you can't. It's not because to you failed elementary school three times in two years, but because the maestro in charge decided to get fancy with it and thought it'd be cool if he hid the text under a black box or likewise photograph. I like to loo...
What is the cause of HTML's problems, though? The vast majority stem from HTML tables, which are used to control webpage layout.

This paper will concentrate on two web sites. The fundamental difference between the two is how much one advertises, and how the other sets the viewer in the right direction. The better of the web sites, in my opinion, is the one without all the bells and whistles.
In this web site, for design and aesthetics, I also agree that there are several point of it such as, layout interface, graphics, attractive video and all of this useful to customer to get more information and attract customer to buy a ...
Design is crucial to any webpage you create. Without effective design, it doesn’t matter how good your logic is or how many different things you can do with it. The user does not care whether or not you put your life into that webpage. If it doesn’t do what they want and make it easy to do, the user will find another that meets their needs or desires. As superficial as it may seem, a user cares most about what’s on the surface of your webpage. Maybe your webpage is faster or does things smarter than somebody else’s, but if their design is better, people are going to prefer theirs over yours. A good design is comprised of many different elements. A key aspect of which is color choice. However, even more important than color when making a successful webpage is the user’s patience.
Next is in terms of the design and aesthetics. Layout that being used for this website is a plain white which easier people to read the text that is in black, in contrast and suitable for the concept of showroom online. The font is also suits which is not too big and not too small to be read by people. To highlight the main subject or the main product, the font is being bold to alert customers that they choose the right one. There is no audio available for this website or even a video. But somehow, as it was a home furnishing website, most of the pictures being used by the website is in JPEG format to deliver a clear view of the products to customers.
Ozok, A. A. & Salvendy, G. (2000). Measuring consistency of web page design and its effects on performance and satisfaction. Ergonomics, 43(4), 443–460.
The design of the Web site is very bright and appealing to the eye. Its layout is inviting and easy to navigate. Its design is consistent through all pages. There are many graphics including, photographs, illustrations, and animated buttons and GIFs. These graphics are placed in an orderly fashion and do not create a cluttered appearance. According to Eccher (2015, p. 169), before a designer begins to build a website, he/she must understand the infrastructure of a web page. As affirmed, a good website is aesthetically pleasing, is usable, and is functional. Web designers seek to have a mortised website. Having a good layout where content is easy to find and to follow achieves the usability aspect of web design. To achieve functionality and aesthetics, one needs good content layout. There exist two types of website design layouts: fixed layout and fluid layout.

In my opinion what makes a good web page? I have been on the net for the last, can’t really believe it, coming to ten years now. From the conception to now, I have been a regular surfer on the web, visiting thousands of pages a month, mostly in search of some thing or another. Most searches have lead to even more searches but some times I come up tops. Having been used to the all text sites of the beginning, and seeing the first implementations of more graphic based sites, there was a three-year lapse where I rarely got to surfing and missed a whole evolution in web page. When I returned in full to surfing, I discovered the face of the internet have started to change. Buttons with pictures, navigation systems, some that even worked, all and all better thought out sites that where pleasing to look at and better to work with. This was probably due to the introduction of java script and more complex versions of html. Before then what made a sight good or bad, for me, was more based on contents. As this change came to be my expectations of sites changed as well. When, at first, we where happy to have hyperlinked, underlined blue text, now we expect to have a good, easy to use, constant navigation system. Where bad resolution bitmaps where the norm, now we want smooth animated graphics. The way we use the internet have changed with the advances in technology, so changing our expectations and creating a whole new set of problems for anyone, from the big spenders to backroom designers, how to get our attention and how to keep us coming back.

Next, you have to develop the layout of the web page. You should draw some simple sketches to display the basic “look and feel” of the web page. The use of a specific theme or template should be used to maintain the same basic look throughout the web site. Keep the reader of the web site in mind when designing the web site. Most readers will not usually wait on large graphic files to load, especially on the home page.
