Web servers are important in today’s internet market, they implement the Hyper Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and it can be run by any computer. It could be used in a local network as well on a wide diversity web site around the globe, enabling user to read information from various resources. A web server enables users to move from one site to another by links call Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). This hyperlinks are the responsible of setting fonts, emending related files (e.g. graphics), and setting fonts in web pages. There is plenty of web server software, and they are available for users in opens sources, and commercial markets. These servers can support millions of request for commercial purposes or to support a lightweight home use with few requests. Web services are a way to intercommunicate end-users over the web through electronics devices. Web Server are software that administrate web requests from clients in a HTTP form, then another server usually response to the client in HTML format. They locate, and access the requests resource, and send back the response to the originator of the request. The response back to the client usually comes from a browser. But how this process works? The user using a URL place the request, then the web server maps the URL to the request making the server to read a file from a disk once the response is found, the server transfer the HTML file to a browser using HTTP.

The World Wide Web and the internet is not the same thing, and they are often confused with being the one and same. However, the internet existed long before the www (World Wide Web). The internet refers to the massive network of computers stretching all over the world. The word internet also found its origin through this, the word comes from the two words interconnected and network. Though we can all with each other through internet, all the computers are not connected to the one and same mega computer. For each network there are one or several computers that hold the information that is needed to access all the information. This arrangement is known as the client-server architecture.

Modern organizations use a variety of resources to fulfill their objectives regardless if the company is a multinational or small entity, they all have a set of resources they depend on to achieve their goals. Part of the resource relied on is Information, and this information needs to be managed to optimize its value to produce the best stakeholder value they can. In order to manage these resources, Information Management systems are put in place.
The World Wide Web Consortium is the main international criteria organization for the World Wide Web. They set the standard for web mark-up languages and web services worldwide. W3C describe web services as a means for two electronic devices to communication via interpolating software applications. These services can be running on a diverse range of networks and frameworks. You can convert your applications into web-applications using common web services. Web services are found many places throughout the internet. Web services communicate using common web protocols such as JSON, REST and SOAP. They are created to be self-describing and easily readable. These protocols adhere to common programing practices and as a result; reduces the need for documentation and have a gentle learning curve. Web services are generally targeted by other applications and not by humans.
Turning to the issues related to information handling, the definition of the information management should be mentioned. According to Hinton’s perspective (2006, p.57) the information management is “the conscious process of gathering information”. A brief overview of the presumable information sources in a high-technology company can help to outline the situation. T...

Asemi observe that Management Information System (MIS) is one of the information systems that is computer based. Besides, Asemi defines MIS as “an organizational method of providing past, present and project information related to internal operations and external intelligences. It supports the planning, control and operation functions of an organization by furnishing uniform information in the proper time frame to assist the decision makers,” (2011). The aim of MIS is to satisfy the general information need of the entire manager in an organization. Before the advent of computers, the process of decision-making was one that was full of built-in advantages and ad hoc methods. Computers technologies have changed the landscape of the decision-making process completely by making the process less demanding and easy to undertake. The reason for this situation is that information technology has made access to information more automated, efficient, effective, timely, and less ambiguous. Consequently, the ordinary t...

The web and the Internet as we know it today had experienced a vast trend of changes. In the early days of web technologies, the Internet was only comprised of simple web pages that displayed information, most of which were from scientific writings. As technologies become more mature, web sites were now able to display dynamic content, as well as to provide interactive elements on their web pages. However, there were no definite standards on how web technologies should be implemented, and thus the implementation of such advanced web technology features become quite difficult. The introduction of web frameworks promised to streamline the implementation of a vast set of features and to stimulate more productive web development practices.
