Wood Buffalo National Park
Physical Aspect
Wood Buffalo National Park is located in Alberta and Northwest Territories.Wood Buffalo National Park overlap two ecozone. It's mostly in the boreal Plain and some in the Taiga Plain as well. Wood Buffalo National Park is the largest national park in Canada and contain an area of 44,807 km2 and it was established in 1922. Wood Buffalo National Park was created to protect and support threatening and endanger species such as Wood Bison, Whooping Canes. Wood Buffalo National Park had a very special landform. It's had an elevation of 210-300m above the sea level. Because of glacier, it's created a flat landform and rich in sedimentary rock in this park.
Climate
Wood Buffalo National Park contain 4 seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.It had short summer but long daytime and long winter but short daytime. Most summer are dry and warm, Fall are usually cool, windy and dry. Wood Buffalo National park had a pretty large temperature range, in most case the temperature range is 40oC. It had a January high -21.7oC, January low -31.8oC. Also a July high 22.5oC and July low 9.5oC. January and February are most likely to be the coldest months of the year and spring starting around the end of April or beginning of May. Temperature slowly increase and get warmer and warmer in March and April. Extremes temperature can be experience in any season. Snowfall is usually expected in October. The Annual precipitation is 214 mm and annual snowfall is 149 cm. It experience average 40 thunderstorm per season. I put a calendar on the center of this poster to show the months for each season.

...es. Keeping a great distance with the wood bison so it's also keep the wood bison in their Tradition wildlife.In the my poster,I drew a person putting out fire. Every year, 1% of the park is burn because of forest fire or fire that causing by thunderstorm. That's why in this park, they had fire suppression to minimum the damage of the park. I drew a person hold a water bottle trying to put out the camp fire before they left, so that it will not cause any fire.
