used to attack other countries.

stands up to America.
Many Arabs are angry at America and Western countries. They blame them
for the problems in the Middle East.

very unusual.

The Americans would like to get rid of Saddam. Going to war would be
one way to achieve this.

Saddam Hussein was a dictator, who through intimidation and force maintained his grasp on power. These are tactics used by many governments throughout the world, ironically including the Amercian government. Saddam had a history of human rights violations and corruption, although compared to other international leaders his transgressions can be considered moderate. For example, in countries such as Rwanda and Sudan far more extreme measures have been taken by leaders, while the international community did little. The Iraq war is based far more upon oil and power then it is freedom. Seemingly, the Bush Administration and their corporate allies saw an opportunity to control the world’s second largest supply of oil and thus, like any savvy businessman would do, exploited it.
The regime of Saddam Hussein began looking like a very promising presidency for the Iraqi people. His goal of absolute domination in the Arab region, turned him into a feared menace among his people. Saddam Hussein was born on April 28, 1937 in Tikrit, Iraq. Hussein’s father, whose occupation was a shepherd, vanished without a trace several months before Saddam was born and he never returned home to Saddam, his brother or his wife. A few months later and after the disappearance of Hussein’s father, his older brother died a terrible death caused by cancer. Saddam’s mother was unable to care for him due to the stress induced anxiety and depression caused by the death of her eldest son, and her missing husband. She was unable to care for Saddam, and at the age three he was sent to Baghdad to live with his uncle, Khairallah Talfah. Saddam would return to Al-Awja years later to live with his mother, but after suffering physical abuse from his stepfather, he fled to Baghdad once again. This influence from Saddam’s childhood made his policies very contradictory in more ways than one, his policies on oil, his abuse of power, and how he treated the people of Iraq could label him as a tyrant. He changed the way the world works today with his use of chemical weapons and abuse of oil.
Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 1957 and he was surrounded by 49 brothers and sisters. His family was really rich because of his father who was a billionaire, and owned one of the biggest construction companies of the kingdom. Bin Laden attended a high leveled school during his childhood, which combined British style secular education with Islamic worship. During his college years, he went to King Abd Al University to study four different courses: civil engineering, public administration, business and economics. In the 1970’s, when he was only 17 years old, bin Laden married his first cousin, and later on married three other women (marrying several times was permitted among Muslims). From a little age, Osama was religiously committed, and whenever his father hosted hundreds of pilgrims during the Hajj, bin Laden had a great time getting to know the gatherers and making new contacts. (A Biography of Osama Bin Laden) Due to influences and strong conviction, this young boy, when reached adulthood, became a terrorist and high threat to many countries, especially America. Osama bin Laden, a fugitive terrorist, was finally caught and killed on May 2, 2011 with the cooperation of Obama and the Navy SEALs bringing peace and closure to American citizens as well as political acknowledgement.

The Iraq war, also known as the second Gulf War, is a five-year, ongoing military campaign which started on March 20, 2003 with the invasion of Iraq by U.S. troops. One of the most controversial events in the history of the western world, the war has caused an unimaginable number of deaths, and spending of ridiculous amounts of money. The reason for invasion war Iraq’s alleged possession of weapons of mass destruction, which eventually was disproved by weapons inspectors. Many people question George W. Bush’s decision to engage a war in Iraq, but there might be greater reason why the decision was made. The ideas of George W. Bush might have been sculpted by one of the greatest works of all time, "The Prince."
In the 1950s, a ruthless tyrant took over the power of a once free nation in Cuba. This tyrant is called Fidel Castro. Castro separated families, destroyed Cuba’s economic prosperity, and denounced religion and the religious rights of his people. He imprisoned, tortured, and killed thousands of Cubans that stood up against him. However, those that weren’t killed were forced to leave the country and to never return. Due to the vicious and savage actions performed by Fidel Castro, mankind is inherently evil.

George and the family slowly but surely came to the Lord. (GOLDMAN, 2010) Sir George W. Bush was a good man who may have made some mistakes in life and presidency but all & all he was a good leader who had good intentions. He loved and he cared.
When Adolf Hitler seized Germany in order to consummate his reign to ultimate superiority, atrocity ensued, but sacrifices are foreordained when power is within one’s reach. Hitler, an economic and political genius, is incomparable to all other leaders of Germany because he was one-of-a-kind, and no other leader will ever achieve the level of success that Adolf Hitler worked so diligently to acquire. With his determination for a powerful new Reich, he was seemingly unstoppable. To be in Hitler’s presence while he was giving a speech was like no other experience. He is easily one of the greatest orators in the history of humanity, and this gift is what helped spread his beliefs to the hopeful people of Germany.
A good leader makes a difference in the lives he is leading. He contributes positively to his community, and guides his people in the right path, keeping them safe. Saddam Hussein, the fifth president of Iraq, did positive and negative things for Iraq while in office, but he ruled with an iron fist, he was cruel and caused terror to his people. He did good for country but was infamous because of the negative perception of his actions while president of Iraq.
During the summer of 1941, Chancellor Adolf Hitler initialized “The Final Solution'; to the “Jewish Question';. Hitler started this program because he wanted to create a highly centralized state and one for the master race, Germans. Exterminating Jews was, for Hitler, the only way to create a perfect Germany because it would eliminate the ‘malignant tumors’, the race that caused Germany to lose World War One. Hitler’s decision to start exterminating Jews changed the course of history. In the end, over 6,000,000 Jews were killed and a Jewish state known as Israel, evolved.
