Personality is something that is related to the characteristic pattern, thought, feelings and behaviour of a person (Cherry, 2014). There are many theories that have been stated in order to describe personality (Cherry, 2014). Everyone has his/her own unique personality. Different person has a different personality and each kind of personality has its own advantages and weaknesses. Everyone should appreciate his/her own personality, and also others personality too. It is important to understand other people so that everyone can easily get along together. However, based on Littauer (1983), everyone has to understand herself/himself first, before understanding others. Everyone should know what type of personality that he/she has. According to Littauer (1983), there are four types of personalities which are melancholy, sanguine, choleric and phlegmatic (refer to Figure 1 in Appendix 1).
The first type of personality is melancholy or also known as perfect melancholy. People that have this type of personality are usually a perfectionist. Everything they do need to be perfect and done properly. They are also well organized, neat and also tidy. They usually do not like to see any mess around them. In emotional side, they are very concern toward other people and also sensitive to others acquirements. In finding friends or mate, they are very careful as they also want perfect friends and mate that is fully filled their requirements. Besides, they are also a detailed person. They used to list out everything that they will do and also the things that they want to buy. They usually have a serious personality. However, the good thing is that they were born with genius potential and they are also talented and creative.

The solution that has been suggested by Littauer (1983), a powerful choleric should also listen to others perspective and practice to be patience all the time.
